From the quote, through the installation, the coordination, the changes, the billing, and all the unforeseen issues. This was a great group of people to work with ... they made every possible accommodation never with a complaint or up charge. They did a great job on my condo ... they did a complete rewire. Dale was super easy to work with on the quote, he listens and makes appropriate recommendations ... Brian did the installation and he was competent, thoughtful, and did what ever it took to finish on time. Huston was always available for questions or concerns. This is a great locally owned business that sets the mark high for others to attempt to follow.

I had an electrical emergency and contacted a few places. Stover was the first one to respond back to me and I was pleasantly surprised to hear that someone would be able to come take a look at the problem the same day. As a single mom time and money are always an issue. I was very happy that they showed up exactly on time- were very friendly and polite. I thought for sure that I would be charged extra fees for same-day service convenience but I was very happy with the pricing and felt that it was fair. I will definitely recommend Stover as well as use them again in the future.

I have used stover electric many times in the past many times, they are always professional and fairly priced. I had an emergency electrical repair today and called hoping they would be able to come out within the next few days to fix it so it wouldn't hold up the rest of the work I had to do...they sent a guy over immediately! He was there faster than a 911 response! He fixed the issue in 15 mins. I am very impressed and recommend them to everyone.

Amended: Houston cantacted me after my initial review and quickly apologized for the missed appointment and offered to setup a new appointment. He was very polite and is clearly experienced. He also maintained good communication up to the quote.

Absolutely frustrating! It took two weeks to make an appointment for a quote. I take time off work to meet with Houston and he stands me up. No call, no email, just no show. I'm glad I didn't make the mistake of hiring him.

I was in the process of buying a house in Ventura. I had a very tight escrow and needed an electrician to inspect and let us know what we were getting into. our realtors electrician was a nobshow so we started cold calling electricians. Houston was by far the most accomodating and thorough electician we met with. He gave us the most complete inspection and the best breakdown of repairs and pricing. it helped greatly in the escrow negotiations.

After escrow closed, Houston and his guys ended up replacing our electric panel and riser. His guys did agreat job. They even went above and beyond to patch up the roof incase it rained. When Edison came by to redo the line connection, he asked me who installed my new box. He said it was really clean work and he wanted Houston to install his new circuit panel.

The house also had issues with some ""custom"" wiring in the attic. The guys really went the extra mile to make sure everything in the house worked properly. Even though they had to spend an extra day, Houston worked with me on pricing. The whole job actually came in at around the original estimate. Will definitely use again for future electrical work.

Stover Electric does excellent work. We trust the work so much we refer family and friend to Houston. We had problems with a electrical plug in our home that drove me crazy. If someone used the microwave in the kitchen it would turn off the items I had plugged in the living room. Needless to say I no longer have the problem.

Houston Stover did a great job and I will definitely call him again when I need electrical work in the future.

Another contractor installed a whole house fan a year ago and the switch never worked properly. After a month of phone tag I came to the realization the installer was never coming back to fix the problem which had been there since day one.

I spent a year monkeying with the switch to keep it from making a buzzing noise, but it finally burnt out.

I tried fixing it myself but the switch was in a loop with another switch for the fan speed and a hall light, so I never got the wiring just right.

Long story short, Houston was prompt to answer my call. Prompt with the work he did to repair the switch. He also ran a separate breaker for the fan, which is one if those kinds of improvements I know will come in handy eventually.

I highly reccommend Stover electric. Don't hesitate to call him. You'll be glad you did.
