He charged us over $300 for spending a lot of time doing what he knew were the least likely causes of our problem. ""There's probably a splice under the house but I'm too old to crawl under the house""

Norm fit us into his busy schedule on the same day we called. Half our house had no power and the breaker could not be reset. He worked quickly to identify the problem, which he fixed and then took it the next step by separating 2 circuits that had been sharing the same breaker. Recommend highly!

We've been having problems with some of our lights inside the house. All the problematic lights are on the same circuit breaker switch, and the lights would randomly flicker and go off on their own. When we called Norm, he was able to basically know what needs to be fixed based on my descriptions. As he was so happen outside our neighborhood, he came by and very quickly repaired the problem at our circuit breaker box. Thank you, Norm!

Norms assistant Frank changed out a ceiling fan for me. Very professional- showed up on time, quick, and competent. Price seemed reasonable.

I've had Norm do several jobs for me over the years. Always comes over on time, his estimates are fair and he does s good job in a timely fashion. What more do you want from a contractor? A professional.

I'm helping out a mentally disabled friend and our local Ace Hardware store recommended Storm Electric to help with a small basic electric job. I called Norm and explained what needed to be done. We had two new outlets that needed to be hooked up to the electric panel. The wire was already run under the house but the wire had not been pushed up from under the house into the electric panel. Norm listed off a bunch of excuses why he can't climb under the house, (I'm too big, I hurt my back, I have bad knees - seriously? One excuse would have been sufficient. It felt like I was talking to my teenager). So, I asked my mentally disabled friend to do it - obviously he wasn't going to work at light speed and after he was unsuccessful 'I' , wanting to get the job done, climbed under the house while our prima Donna electrician stood around and waited. A couple times while I was under the house pushing the wire up I kept calling out for him and had to wait for him to come back.(!?!) He hooked up 'one' outlet to the panel, took a phone call from a friend, and then said he would have to come back to finish.(!) I asked if he planned to charge me the $75 fee which he charges just for showing up and he said yes that I would have to pay that fee again when he comes back.(!?!) A little frustrated, I asked him to just finish the job because there wasn't much work left - maybe another 10 - 15 minutes. Again, he had a list of excuses. He started working a few minutes after 2:15 and he was writing the invoice at 3:40. So, he was a here for almost an hour and a half but he charged for two hours plus his $75 show up fee plus $25 for marked up parts. Sheesh - to install 'one' new outlet $340 dollars and I still have a job that's half done. Seemed a pretty shady until we discovered that he stole about 15-20 feet of wire from our job site! Wire that we 'need' to finish the job!! Outrageous! Be kind to the elderly and disabled people because for every kind person, there are a dozen like this who take advantage of them. Disgusting!!
