We read the review below about the electric problem in the master bedroom. And we had a very similar situation! The lights in our bedroom and bathroom were flickering on and off as well. And then the lights stopped working. We checked all the connections in the house and breaker box. Everything seemed fine. Called Steven and he showed with two guys. He checked the breaker box with special tools and figured out the left side of the box wasn't getting any power. Then figured out that the connection from the pole to the house was corroded because the city didn't come out and put a permanent fixture on it. So him and crew cleaned wire put a temporary connection until the city can come out and put a permanent connection in. Thank you for the great work Steven and his crew!!!!

I found Steven J Clairmont on Yelp after 2 Calls and a text to Cyclops Electric with no response. When I called STEVEN, he answered on the first ring and said they would be by in 2 hrs. They came on time, they replaced a faulty outlet in the kitchen and bedroom. They were very fast, professional and very polite. We are having them come back tomorrow to fulfill a wish list to add another outlet in the Kitchen and fix a bedroom fan. There prices are very fair. I would be happy to recommend them to my family and friends. Thank God CYCLOPS ELECTRIC did not answer my call, LOL

This review is long overdue!!! I made the mistake of hiring a different electrician and it was a hot mess. Not only was the work incomplete but damaged my home. Luckily, my boyfriend found Steve which turned out to be a total blessing. Not only was he priced reasonably but was professional and the work was completed on time. Steve and his Son were amazing and I highly recommend them to anyone. I will hire them again in a heartbeat! Total trustworthy! Thank you!

On Thursday, 1/12, I woke up to discover lights in parts of two rooms in my house were not working. SCE was no help, and nothing changed after checking the circuit breaker panel. I called up Mr. Clairmont, and set an appointment for late that afternoon. Keep in mind that it was quite rainy in West Covina that day.

Mr. Clairmont and his associate arrived just after 6pm. They immediately started going through the various outlets and the circuit panel. Rather quickly, they discovered the cause of the outage was corrosion of wires above the ceiling in my laundry room that I had no clue about. They did a couple fixes, and the lights came back on in the affected rooms.

These gentlemen were highly professional, super nice, really patient, and just got to work immediately. They were excellent I'm answering all my questions. Most definitely, they were well worth the fee charged!!! They are excellent!!!

These guys are true professionals and know their stuff. We had electrical problems in our garage. After wasting time with our solar panel Co who were of absolute no help and a handyman who had no idea what he was doing, I called Steven. He and his partner resolved the problem in under an hour and even found a junction box I did not know existed. They will be our electricians of choice for all future electrical needs.

I had an electrical problem in my master bedroom with half the outlets not working and the ceiling light in the bathroom flickering on and off for the past week. I had another electrician scheduled to come out tomorrow to fix it. This morning, one of the outlets started sparking and I had to scramble to find an immediate service.

I found Steven through Yelp and he came out today (Sunday) and found the loose neutral wire in the room in less than 10 minutes, replaced the outlet and fixed another sketchy electrical connection in my garage attic all within an hour and at very reasonable prices.

He arrived on the time promised, fixed the emergency I had on a football Sunday, and I was impressed with his friendly demeanor and professionalism.

I read his other Yelp reviews and they were all positive and I do not know why he shouldn't deserve anything other than 5 stars other than those reviewers mistakenly clicked on less stars than they intended.

I plan to call him back to replace my rusty swimming pool electrical box in the future and would highly recommend his work.
