He cut the entire electrical to my bathroom putting in a fan, then told me he wouldn't find out what was wrong. This all happened years ago, but I saw his nam when I was researching electrician on yelp and thought that people need to know he's not as amazing as those reviews say he is. He's also cranky and arrogant. Do not recommend him at all

Steve Sautman is a master electrician, he has been doing it over 30 years + althought he would get mad at me for saying that because it's 40 years. He is great at all kinds of electric work- from new construction to changing an outlet. I recent hired steve to install a split mini system HVAC system in an old 1940s house with no AC. It works great! Highly recommend, won't find more honest contractor.

I live in a condo in Venice. I was the first in my building to have a charging station installed in the underground parking garage. Dealing with the HOA and their lawyer was not a simple or straightforward process. However, Steve made his part a total breeze. I had been referred to him by another EV owner for whom Steve had installed a 240V outlet for a charging station in the apartment building's garage. Steve came out and we did a walk-through of the property, checking out the electric meter room and garage. I told him the power requirements I was looking for for the charging station (Tesla-charging capable). He explained exactly what work would need to be done to put a 240V outlet on the wall at my parking space, running from the electric meter for my unit. He got the preliminary permit, supplied me with all the documentation my HOA required to get the green light for the project, always arrived on time, installed everything in an efficient and professional manner, and got the final permit signed off on without having to do anything extra. Steve clearly knows what he is doing for electric vehicle charging station installation. After hearing horror stories of people trying to get a charging station installed in a condo/apartment building, Steve set my mind at ease, as he is very familiar with dealing with HOA's. I am so happy to now be able to charge my electric Miata Conversion in my parking space in the condo underground garage. If you need to have an electric vehicle charging station installed in your home/condo/apartment building, do yourself a favor and contact Steve.

Hello I hope all Tesla owners and prospective ones read this especially ones that live in condominiums.
Steve is the absolute best! I had originally picked another electrician off of Tesla's site and was sickened with what that guy had said about me getting a charger installed. He even went further to say that he had seen people sell their condominiums because installing a charger could be a daunting task. It was around the holidays so I just let it go and decided to just use the super chargers instead. I was fortunate enough to talk to another owner while charging my car who gave me the referral to Steve Sautman Electric. All I can say is that it was smooth sailing after that. Amy in his office scheduled everything from permits, installation and inspection not missing a beat. I am so happy. If you need a go to knowledgeable company please check them out!

Steve has gone above and beyond yet again! Thanks to him we have hot water after our boiler went out during Christmas/Hanukkah! If you need a fantastic Electrician that would sacrifice their holiday to make sure yours goes great he is truly a gem! Amy in the office is spot on and actually remembered my complex even though we hadn't used them for almost a year.

This company redid my electric six years ago. Just had an electrician out to put in a new circuit for an air conditioner and discovered that they had wired me to the neighbor's garage. Have been trying to find out for years why my electric bill has been so so high. Now I know.
