Process was easy. Steve Martin (yes, Steve Martin) was great! I would highly recommend this business and Tech.

The electrician spent about 5 minutes at our residence. All he did was show me the correct way to flip a circuit breaker and where a light switch in the house was located. Evidently, a flipped circuit breaker must be turned ALL the way to the off position before flipping it back to the on position. I didn't know that, and felt really stupid (LOL). Also, turned out that a plug in socket inside the house that I thought was bad was not bad at all. He showed me where the wall switch for it was located. Anyway, after spending not more than 5 minutes at our home and after not repairing anything, I get a bill in the mail for $160. Please be advised that if you call this company, they will charge you exorbitantly just for showing up. Lord knows what they would've charged for a legit repair!

Special thanks to the team at Steve Cavanee for holding my hand during multiple calls/jobs around the house for the past few months. From replacing the circuit breaker and removing old Fios equipment, to switching out old light housings and literally changing lightbulbs, it was a real pleasure.
Kudos to Matthew who kept me regularly informed on the City inspection process and patiently taught me new electrician words. And cheers also to Steve Martin (really!) for explaining what he was doing at every step, and was as kind as he was funny. Half that imaginary brick of cash is yours - no questions asked!

Amazing work they did with what was definitely not an ordinary job. Really went all out and such cool nice professional workers. Steve Martin and Fernando definitely went above and beyond. I will use this business again for any electrical needs.

Had an electrical issue in the house. Omar came out and was very professional. He was able to fix the primary issue, but then there was a secondary issue that happened after he left. I came out of construction type stuff so it didn't phase me too much... secondary stuff happens. Steve Martin came out to take care of the secondary issue. He had it diagnosed inside of 45 minutes, and he was great to talk with. Both guys were helpful. Neither of them seemed to be bothered by the questions. I can't speak to Cavenee electric outside of these two individuals, but they were both professional and got the job done. I would personally not have any problem recommending either or both of them.

Horrible follow up after the project was not completed as planned. The office almost never answer calls or return calls despite multiple attempts. They keep sending bills even if it was already paid!!! They will respond to inquiries or first time customers but BEWARE!

I just recently had Steve Cavenee's company install a ring system for me. It worked when they left, but it did not work after that! They sent Jose out for the second time. He was really wonderful! He not only checked the Physical device, which he said, since it's not connected to my Wi-Fi, it will not work. He said, even though it was not part of his job that he would attempt to connect the Wi-Fi for me. Just a thought that he was able to go above and beyond made me feel that they take their customer seriously. I have been using Steve Cavenee's electric for not only my house but for my rental enrollment Heights, I will continue to use them on a regular basis.

Last time I had an electrical project I called Steve Cavenee Electric and he did such a fantastic job I put him in My contacts ...I found quality and value in my first project so I'm creating a new electrical project list and will call Steve soon to complete my new project list fast, professional, and at a fair price!

DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY. Dishonest and Unprofessional. Janna, the receptionist is deceitful and she even harasses you. I almost had to reach out to my lawyer.
I own several properties in Orange County for over 20 years and have worked with many companies but this was the worst company I've experienced.
1. UNPROFESSIONALISM: I called Janna to fix my doorbell chime and install Ring. Janna said $165 for first hour and second trip fee is $45 and following service fee is $140. They do not show up on time. My initial appointment was 8am, then they moved it to 9, 2, then they showed up at 3:10pm.
2. Fixed the button on my transformer but didn't install Ring. Around 3:30, Manny, the technician left job unfinished saying they are in hurry. He promised that he will come back and remove the second trip fee and prorate the unfinished service fee.
3. DISHONESTY: Manny the technician promised that he will waive $45 and prorate the service fee since he had to leave job unfinished. I wanted him to leave me a written promise but he assured me he was in hurry and he will talk to the office and take care of everything. I should have never trusted him. LEAVE PAPER TRAIL.
4. Few days later, Janna calls and apologizes for all the inconvenience and to set up a time to finish the job. She does not give me an estimate so I had to ask several times for an estimate. She texts me $165 for service and $50 for parts for the second trip. Event hough I remembered the second trip is $140, I wanted to get the job done fast and avoid the hassle, I agree to her term. Few hours later, she texts me that the service fee is increased to $180, then few minutes later $210!!!!!!!!!!
5. I asked her why it went up from $165 to &180 then $210. I told her that she is not being transparent and dishonest. She starts to calling and texting me, harassing me that I prey on free work and leave negative reviews. Oh, she added that people will never trust my review. I texted her that this is my first negative review and all this is captured along with the photos of the mess they left.
6. I've owned several properties in OC for past 20 years and have worked with many companies. I've never seen this level of unprofessionalism. Steve, if you see this, please contact me. I will show you all the text she sent me and the phone calls along with the photos. You need to fire Janna.
