James is an outstanding electrician and equally great at customer service. He arrived at the time we agreed on (early, even) and helped me understand my situation in clear terms. He charged a fair price, was friendly, and knowledgeable. The next time I need an electrician, I will definitely be calling him. He had room in his schedule for same day service this time, but even if I'd had to wait, it would have been worth it.

They installed many receptacles, switches, an electric mirror and a ceiling fan.

I highly suggest them. I often feel vulnerable as a single woman with repair men. I feel some not so honest repair men can rip a woman off because of our lack of knowledge ( by choice) of their trade.
I called six electricians. Only three called back. I had no kitchen lights and no microwave. No bedroom lights and random outlets did not work. James from Stephan's came out on a Sunday to help me. The one electrician that I did connect with could not come out until that Wed. He spent over an hour fixing outlets, assessing the problem and finding a wire that had burned up and could have put this home in flames. He was patient. He was kind and he was respectful. I highly recommend them Thank you

This vendor is the most unprofessional one I have had ever come across. He sounded very rude since early interaction but I gave him benefit of doubt. For this job, he went to the site and left me a note that he is cancelling the job because attic space is not big enough. Common it's a new construction and there is enough room.

I found about him leaving job site only after I reached and checked my email. He could have called my cell phone. This guy wasted a lot of my time and money, clearly has no respect for your time and money.

Don't get trapped into his quote. Don't bother looking at it.

I am so happy I called them. He came the first day I contacted him to remove some hot tub wiring that were exposed on the home I was selling. I also had him come to my new house and instal ceiling fans in all the rooms. They look great and make each room so much cooler . He went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect . My refrigerator, microwave and computer all lost power at the same time. Tried resetting breakers as well as the GFI and nothing solved the problem. Contact Stephens Electrical and James came out and quickly solved the problem. Turned out that during the kitchen remodel, that was done by a general contractor, the microwave was moved off of it's circuit to a circuit shared with the refrigerator. Wups!! James only charged by about 1/3 of what they normally charge for a minimum house call fee. After he explained in more detail about the problem having the microwave on the same circuit as the frig I have elected to have him re-wire the micro back to its own circuit. Glad for the quick fix as well as the education he provided. Will use Stephens again I'm sure.

James saved the day! Our main AC was out and we purchased a few portable units which eventually caused my outlets to stop working.

Our house was too hot to have our infant son home. James came out and quickly found the issue, explained where I should place the units and what to do if it goes out again. Hereven tested multiple outlets to ensure they worked.

Had James install 6 timed motion sensors in place of light switches, replace 3 ceiling fans and 4 recessed lights in lieu of flush mounted LED lights with dimmers. He did a great job, the price was upfront, reasonable, but most importantly, he did the work well, as promised and on time. I would not hesitate to hire him in the future.
