I own an older condo with lots of issues. One of which was the ongoing issue of random power outage.

After it was finally diagnosed that my breaker box as a whole needed to be replaced, I searched several quotes before settling on Peter. I end up hiring him not because he was the cheapest, but it was because he showed up when he said he would, he seemed friendly, and he seemed detailed orientated when he came out for inspection (at no charge).
Turns out, he is personalable and professional, reliable, and took the time to do the job right. At his first visit, he had provided a quote for the job, but once the job started, he ran into several issues, which extended this job several more hours than expected.
When the job ended, he did not charge more for all the troubles he encountered.
As an added bonus, he is clean and cleans up after he is done with the job! Due to the 'issue' he encountered, he had to cut into the drywall and cut wooden beams...but by the time he's done, all of the dust was gone!
I would hire him again for next job and highly recommend him.

Based on a Nextdoor app recommendation I called Peter from Steglitz Power for electrical help. He came the same day and gave us a diagnosis and an apt in 2 days to do the work. My husband went to Home Depot and bought the needed parts, Peter put them in and charged us a very fair price. He is very likable and responsible, he lets you know if he is running late from a previous job so you don't have to guess when he'll be at your job. We will definitely use him again!

Peter helped us with installing a 220v plug for our EV car. He is very professional, honest & delivered exactly what he promised. We received quotes from other electrical companies, but we choose Peter because when we asked about permits, he was honest with us. The other electricians wanted to cut corners & told us we didn't need one. Getting the permit took a while because of the city & all its red-tape, but Peter stayed on track to get us what we need for inspection & kept us updated the whole time. He could have easily just ran off & never followed through since we already paid him for the job, but he didn't because he is an honest man. We will definitely use him again for any other electrical projects we have. Thanks Peter!

Wow that was shady. This guy was assigned to me through Amazon Home Services. He was supposed to come out between 11-2pm on a Sunday. We made sure we were home for the whole 3 hr slot. At 11:40am, he messages through Amazon to 'confirm the appointment'. I reply right away saying that I've been waiting for him. 20 minutes later he messages again saying he's canceling this as he did not hear from me. So I call him and he says well he already canceled it but he can come out and do the job for the same price. That sounded shady because this way he can get paid in full without a cut taken by Amazon. I point that out and then he started upselling, to eventually try to sell me a paid visit to make an estimate of the job. This is when I said good bye.

I own an older home and with that things break/ don't work properly here and there. My kitchen light switch stopped working but Peter was able to identify the problem. It was a pretty straightforward fix but he was professional throughout the entire process. Definitely would recommend!
