Terry as very professional and knowledgeable. I was satisfied with the work that was done. He knows exactly what he is doing. I would use him again than to find someone who says they can do the same job cheaper. Pricing is fair as well. Easy to get hold of via email.

Very disappointing. After weeks of calling the office and leaving messages without a return call, I finally was able to make an appointment on 9/2 for an arrival of 12-1 pm. I was there waiting until after 1 with no call or apology for being late. I let it go. Terry Steele explained that he could not do the work that day as the work would take 3 hours and he would have to block out that much time next week. After NO follow up, I went physically to see Terry Steele about scheduling. He made an appt for 11:45 on 9/15 (2 weeks after he promised the first time) He later claimed to tell me 11:30-2:30 as an arrival time. BS!!! I confirmed 3 times before I left him as I ALWAYS do! Never was a 3 hour window mentioned. I waited and waited. Thinking Terry forgot I called his office and cell phone but got no answer or reply. Unwilling to waist the whole day I left. Terry Steele arrived at 1:15. He thought keeping me waiting for 1 hour and 45 minutes without calling was normal. He actually blamed me for misunderstanding and expected me to be available from 11:30-2:30 and also 3 hours to do the work.
6 hours total. The arrogance of service contractors regarding appointments is overwhelming. I have never kept clients waiting for even 5 minutes without calling.
Terry was neither prompt or professional, and the job of adding a 220 outlet seemed over his head.

Terry Steele is a rare breed in the home repair arena: honest and proud of his work. He showed up on time to look at a light/fan combo that had stopped working. The fan is shot and can't be repaired. Instead of taking his $85 for that 10 minute assessment and walking, he asked if there was some other work we wanted done (there was, we wanted an outside outlet put in for the electric smoker). He charged reasonably for that task and was on his way. We will definitely use Terry again!

I own a second home in Elk Grove but I live in Suisun, so I had to drive to the house. I wanted to get some other estimates from him. I had made an appointment to meet with Terry but he arrived early for the appointment. Luckily for me, my son was still there to let him in & so Terry was able to do the work & finish it before I arrived !!! He was very professional & had a great sense of humor but MOST importantly he explained what he had to do & answered all my questions about what I wanted to have done. Another important plus is that he was extremely reasonable !! I was so happy with the work he did. I even asked if he ever came into the Suisun area to do work....unfortunately for me he does not : ( I definitely will be having him do some more in the next month or so & HIGHLY recommend his work !!! He is professional, very knowledgeable, a perfectionist, cleans up after he is finished, and just an all around good guy! Very pleased with Steele Electric, a local Elk Grove electrician. Terry transformed my kitchen with recessed and pendant lighting! The big boxed lighting is gone! Yippee! He provided us with options and recommendations; exactly what we were looking for. Job was completed as promised, clean up was perfect, and pricing was very reasonable.
