We've used StarTech three times so far. They are always responsive and have done a great job. The guys have always been respectful and great to work with. They pointed out a couple of things they noticed about my lighting and helped us reduce electricity costs. I've also listened to their advice and got a home surge protector that actually saved my electronics when lightning struck our satellite dish. Just cannot say enough good things about StarTech.

Sorry but this is not a reputable company. Robert and Charlie came to my house to install ceiling fans. They showed up and didn't have the right size ladder so they had to come back. They came back three days later to install and said that I had the wrong down rods. Robert said no worries I can get them in 2 to 3 days. He calls while he's at my home and says that he can get them. I said okay and leave everything where its at since you'll be back in a few days. Fast forward, 2 weeks later I called Robert and he said that he would put me on the calendar for this Friday. It's Friday and I haven't heard from Robert so I call Bart the owner. Bart says let me call Robert and see what's going on. He calls me back 2 hours later and says that he can have my fans installed next week either Tuesday or Wednesday. I told him that I was told a few days to have the work done and now it's going to be almost three weeks. Bart says ""I'm sorry but it is what it is"" In the mean time I have the fans built sitting on the floor waiting for them to install them.
No customer service, No follow up, No follow thru. I would not use this company.

We asked Startech Electric to replace the Fluorescents with LED lighting in our garage. Ian and his assistant Trevor arrived on time. They were personable, very knowledgeable and efficient. The LED lights are great, no worries about replacing ballast ever and the lights will last for many years. The price was fair and appropriate. We highly recommend Startech Electric.

This company sent two young men over yesterday to fix our hot water heater. It took them all of 5 minutes to diagnose the problem-two loose wires that needed to be connected. When I ask them if they were sure that was the problem, they assured me it was. Guess what? We have no hot water and they will not answer their phone/emails to address their incompetence.

Michael & Charlie at StarTech Electric are simply outstanding. Reliable, reasonable & experienced. They have hung ceiling fans & light fixtures in our home...some of which have been challenging. They are our 'go to' electricians. I recommend them without hesitation.

Can't really speak for their actual service, but my attempts to get these folks to come out to my house for some actual electric work was sorely lacking. I took the time over the weekend to complete their rather extensive form on their website requesting service. After completing it, I received an email saying someone would call me. By Tuesday I hadn't heard anything so I called their number. The man who answered proceeded to lecture me about how nobody really uses their Internet form (about 1 in 550!) and he really doesn't pay attention to that stuff and I should use the telephone. When I pointed out that I used the form because it was late at night, again, he said I should have called and left a message. WELL, EXCUSE ME!

I had an outdoor lighting issue...basically they quit working. I googled electricians and found Startech Electric. They came out the next day and let me know it was a minor issue. They fixed it for a very reasonable fee. I would highly recommend them.

Had these guys out to install 2 220 outlets for a new machine I purchased. Didn't quote me but, I asked one of the guys less than 30 mins of completion and he said around $350 and I told him that someone else was legit for it, when it was time to pay, the cost jumped to $520.

Be warned, get a true hard quote from these guys, and also make sure you have a trash can or they'll just throw their trash on the floor or in any container that resembles a trash can.

WILL NEVER USE AGAIN.....

He may not be a human calculator, but I work hard for what I have and this company took me for a fool and charged me $170 more than what they should've!
