Raymond Starr established Starr Electric Company, Inc. in 1928, beginning as a one-man business in a small office on North Green Street in Greensboro, NC. The company weathered the storms of the Depression Era and continued to expand. By 1942, the company had added J.W. and Roy, Raymond Starr's brothers, to its ranks.
