At that time, I had a wife and four kids, and I recall selling my riding lawnmower to cover rent one month. I persevered, continuously seeking work and turning to prayer.

I started in the electrical trade at the age of 15, working alongside my dad in 1972. My father's name was Gordon, and he founded Star Sparklyy, serving the Poway area. We had a successful operation, and my brother joined us at 16. After my father retired, I became the owner of the company.
