Tim and his son did a fantastic job on multiple projects at our house. I was initially looking for help to run a 220V line for my hot tub on the opposite corner of my house from the electrical box. I got quotes from 4 different companies. I got the best ""vibe"" from Tim who pointed out several aspects of the job that no one else mentioned and was super responsive on the quote and on scheduling the work. Once they were onsite, we identified a couple other jobs and asked them to quote, which they did on the spot, and added to the scope same day. Incredibly flexible and responsive. They were patient with us as we took a couple tries to purchase the right ceiling fan. They were also great with dealing with our crazy work schedules. High quality work from high quality people. Would recommend 10 out of 10 times and will hire again.

Great business and great work done. Tim installed a new breaker panel and hard wired the hottub for us. Additionally they installed some additional outlets and did a safety inspection.

Mine was a simple job--replace an outdoor electrical outlet. Star Lighting quoted the best price and Aaron provided excellent and highly professional service. I found my go-to contractor for all things electrical. My advice to anyone is to not waste your time looking for a lower price and just higher the best for a reasonable price--Star Lighting & Electrical.

Tim and his son Aaron make a great team. They installed my Herman Miller pendant lamp and gave solid recommendations about the best type of LED light bulb to use with it. They also installed some lovely sconces and a new dimmer switch. Tim also followed up to make sure I didn't experience any issues after the installation. My living and dining rooms have an excellent ambiance now!

Tim came out to install a wifi enabled 3-switch light panel that had a mess of wires in the small electrical box. They were all painted over so I didn't want to touch them...and good thing because it was a pain to deal with. At least Tim handled with it in a positive & professional way. He's really a good guy. I would have been cursing the gods while getting shocked over and over.

I also asked him to take a look at the doorbell system. I thought the doorbell chime or transformer wasn't working, but Tim isolated it down to the button. But because I had already bought a new chime, transformer, and video doorbell already, I asked him to install them all. The new transformer was necessary for the video doorbell to provide enough power. Anyways, the whole job helped me out from doing it all myself, and made sure that the electrical works the way it should. Two big honey-do tasks off my list!!

It's nice to meet good people who do great work at a fair price. I forgot to mention that he was the first to respond to my request for help here on Yelp. I will definitely call on Tim and Star Lighting & Electrical for any future electrical jobs. Contact him, you'll see for yourself.

Needed an installation of a new circuit and outlet to switch from a gas dryer to an electrical dryer. Tim and his crew did a great job! I am very happy with the whole experience. I appreciated the free estimate, reasonable price,

We contacted Star Electrical to swap out a 3-prong electrical cord on our dryer to a 4-prong one, and would highly recommend them! The process was seamless and we were really happy with the work - Tim responded quickly and came over to take a look and give an estimate, and Aaron came over to swap out the cord on another date. Their pricing is competitive.

They were fast, super knowledgeable, and clearly explained what was being done - with electrical work, safety is so important, and I felt very comfortable and confident in their expertise. While installing the cord, Aaron discovered that part of the original installation had been done incorrectly, which was so helpful to us since our dryer was still under warranty, and we could still contact LG to correct the issue. They are also so friendly, polite, and professional, and very easy to communicate with. We were really happy with the quality of their work, and would undoubtedly use them again!
