Steve is a nice friendly guy. He swapped out two old hallway ceiling lights to recessed lights. The price was good and better than others but most importantly the communication was good and service was quick. Not a big corporate company, just Steve. Give him a try.

I needed to enhance my landscaping lights around the house and Steve was very good at his perception of what needed to be lit and what kind of lights to use. I kept adding lights and Steve was very patiently returning to my home to do the additional work even though it required him to come back and forth for the same job. By the way... Did I mention that I needed all this work done within a week of a big party I was having at my home? Well, Steve was extremely accommodating and made it all happen. He's very nice to work with and I would definitely use his service again if I needed an electrician!!!

Recently, on a late Sunday afternoon we had a sudden power failure with random outages around the house. After several attempts to correct the problem ourselves, I found Star Light Electric on line. I can't say enough good things about Steve and Star Light Electric. After waiting for 3 days for someone to show up from another outfit (which was highly recommended on Yelp), I gave up and found Star Light. Steve came over within a couple hours, right when he said he'd be here. What I thought was a simple one hour job stretched into 5 hours. It turned out there were multiple undetected problems with DIY electrical work done by the previous owner, and by an amateur electrician we'd made the mistake of hiring after we bought the house a couple years ago. Steve was a man on a mission- he wasn't going to give up until he tracked down the central problem. I won't go into detail except to say there were problems which could have been very dangerous, as in: life threatening. It's electricity, after all! I could see that Steve had found a challenge and rose to it. In short, he impressed me with his work ethic, his skill, and his personality. A nice guy. And the charge was quite reasonable. Recommend Steve and Star Light highly.
