We at Star Generation specialize in providing sales, service, and repair for KOHLER generators. We also manage other brands of generators. Our certifications include KOHLER, Generac, and Onis Visa, and we possess knowledge of many others, including Briggs & Stratton, Onan, Cummins, Ingersoll Rand, Cat, and Olympian.
Even as a fresh business, Star Generation we come from a strong foundation. Formerly operating as Higgins Electric since 1970, the late Ray Higgins founded the company in August 2014. Following his passing, his son Rich Higgins continued the work for two years until the business was required to cease operations due to licensing guidelines. As a result, Star Generation was established to ensure dedicated customer service for all our generator customers. We value our long-standing customers and are excited to greet new customers.
In my role as an electrical contractor, I take pride in offering affordable and reliable services to my clients. With over 25 years of experience as an electrician and generator installer, along with 15+ years as a certified technician, I have the skills and equipment needed to provide sales, service, and repairs for generator systems.

Rich worked easily with the HOA and efficiently with county permitting. Both he -- and his installation crew -- were professional, exceptionally competent and timely in all phases of the project. He teamed up with the fuel company for the tank and fuel and that, too, went smoothly. He helped with the landscaping efforts and replanting of plants. His personal accessibility was virtually 24/7 for any question or concern, which of course were always resolved.
