Company Overview
Star Generation focuses on sales, service, and repair of KOHLER generators. We provide service and repair for various brands of generators. Our certifications include KOHLER, Generac, and Onis Visa, while also being well-versed in many others, like Briggs & Stratton, Onan, Cummins, Ingersoll Rand, Cat, and Olympian.
Though Star Generation is a newer entity, we come from a strong foundation. Previously known as Higgins Electric since 1970, the company was founded by Ray Higgins, who sadly passed away in August 2014. Following his passing, his son Rich Higgins continued the work for two years until the state mandated licensing guidelines. This led to the creation of Star Generation, aimed at maintain our commitment to serving all our generator customers. We are thankful for our dedicated customers and look forward to serving new clients.
As an electrical contractor, I am committed to providing trustworthy and cost-effective services to my clients. Having more than 25 years of experience in electrical work and generator installation, along with 15+ years as a certified technician, I am equipped with the knowledge and tools to handle the sales, servicing, and repairs of generator systems.

Before proceeding, I reached out to a former customer whose name Rich had provided; the recommendation (he had purchased two generators) was outstanding. Rich worked easily with the HOA and efficiently with county permitting. Both he -- and his installation crew -- were professional, exceptionally competent and timely in all phases of the project. He teamed up with the fuel company for the tank and fuel and that, too, went smoothly. He helped with the landscaping efforts and replanting of plants. His personal accessibility was virtually 24/7 for any question or concern, which of course were always resolved. In the end, and for any potential customers, my recommendation, too, is ""outstanding."" Thank you!
