Roland is the best. He came right out as we were leaving tomorow for San Diego. He is really smart, he eliminated the potential problems one by one and then found the problem. The resolution was to run a new line but he then thought it out and find a work around so we did not have to run a new line. I can not recommend him more for any electrical need.

I spent 40 years in the building industry. I have met and worked with many sub contractors. Roland is, in my opinion, one of the best electricians I've ever met. He did quite a bit of work for us in early 2017. He shows up when he says he will or he will call. He cleans up after himself every day. He'll work with the customers until they get exactly what they want. Roland has a very positive attitude, and is a pleasure to work with.

What can I say? R. Roland Medina's the best there is! I'll attached some photos for you to see. He was here today and outfitted our home with beautiful lighting. He was able to work with my schedule, had the best pricing, answered all my questions, and was extremely professional. I just had some electrical work done a couple days ago and thought my electrician may have messed up my pool pump while wiring an outdoor bathroom for me. I needed an opinion on this before I confronted my electrician. So I called Star Energy Electric. They came out very fast and checked the work of the other electrician for me. It turns out by pure coincidence my pool pump went out the exact time my electrician did some work in that pool area. I was relieved and grateful that Star Energy responded very quickly and charged a very reasonable consultation fee to evaluate the situation. I have other work to do in the future and will be calling for a free estimate.

Working with Roland is a breath of fresh air. He is knowledgeable, reasonable, and just great to work with. He will walk you through everything so you are educated on what is needed and what he is doing.

He did a variety of things for us from running new wire to installing new lighting, TVs, outlets, and more. He thinks through every situation and can see the big picture as well as the detailed task at hand. We did a full renovation on our place and Roland made sure that everything to do with electrical was in thorough order upon completion.
