I am new to the area and may not be the most talented DIY woman but after getting the run around, being quoted ridiculous numbers to hang a straight forward pendant light with its already installed ceiling wires and prewired dimmer switch -- All I was asking was for a fair shake and a decent job. I got that with Stanford Electric.

I reached out via Yelp messenger and Douglas responded via email and phone promptly. I explained what I needed and he quoted me $100/hr saying that if the job took less than that time, we could work together to prorate. Finally, some common sense! I emailed him pictures of the existing area and also what my light looked like and he assured me we could get the job done the same day or the next day at the latest.

When the electrician, Josh, showed up at the end of the same day I called, he was pleasant, he did a neat job so as not to create/leave a mess, he measured and asked me if I needed any final adjustments once the light was up, I paid him via Zelle, and we were done in less than an hour.

Pendant light cost me $75; install was $75 which compared to other quotes was fair all-around. Other companies' quotes in the surrounding area and online came in at twice that ($140-225). Really?! I was willing to return the light and forget about the whole thing had I not found someone reasonable/reliable to install it. I would recommend Stanford Electric and should the need arise, I would use them again. Thank you

Douglas came to my elderly parents' house in San Marcos on Memorial Day weekend and quickly fixed their worn out plugs. He responded quickly and called ahead when he was delayed on the previous job. He was patient and explained his work, and charged a VERY reasonable price. He also came back to put in a new circuit for my parents' second refrigerator, again at a very resonable price. I would definitely call them again.

My home warranty company assign these guys to me..My ac was not working because it wasnt getting any power going to the condenser.. Anyhow they show up and assessed it and told me the breaker was defective and needed to be replaced.. I'm thinking not a big problem they just need to order the breaker and replace it.. Anyhow a couple days later my home warranty company said they will not cover the job cause I need my whole electrical panel replace???? So I purchase a new breaker YouTube how to replace the breaker and now my ac is working .. I don't know if they are being dishonest cause they show up for 5 minutes and I'm sure they got paid there full rate for that from the home warranty company and now they try to extract more out of pocket money from me for a bigger job not is not necessary needed? Just seem shady

Doug and Jordan diagnosed and fixed our electrical problem very quickly. I especially appreciated that they came later the evening because they were delayed on their previous job. There was a short in the wiring upstairs that was causing the electricity to go out intermittently only in one portion of the house. I would definitely call them again for any electrical problems.

We had non-working electrical outlets in part of the house due to a bad GFCI outlet (i.e. outlets in all the bathrooms, in a closet, and one wall of garage). Due to misinformation I gave Doug and Doug (yes, two Dougs worked on the problem) regarding the outlet locations, they spent more time than they normally would have to resolve the issue. Nevertheless they found the problem outlet and were able to resolve the issue quickly. They were very professional, knowledgable, friendly and patient. I recommend them highly for serving electrical issues!

On time and solved problem quickly. Were assigned by home warranty company so I was a bit concerned as I have have spotty results in past when using warranty. Doug and Jordan were knowledgeable and quick yet took the time to address some other issues that were of concern.
