This is the best contractor I have found on island, and I've gone through many. Permits were done within days. Quick and efficient. He communicates within minutes of text/phone call, anticipates possible issues/problems and has very good pricing. He is very flexible with schedules and generally is just an easy and trustworthy guy to talk/work with. I totally trusted him in my home alone... even with my dogs. Now lets get to his work. He was very careful at being mindful of my historic home. I was concerned about doing a complete overhaul of the electric and an upgrade to 200 amp panel. He was always conscientious of keeping to the history of the home with regard to types of sockets, switches, plates, placement, all of it. My home, built in 1952, now has ALL TO CODE electrical, that looks original to the house. Some homes are hard to rewire due to single wall construction but he was able to do it without ruining the integrity of the look of the home. I have future electrical plans and have him on speed dial. Call him, you will not regret it. Great crew as well. Quality, professional, good pricing and all with ALOHA. Couldn't be happier.

Mr. Johnny Stagg is very conscientious, dependable professional!
I thought that I had major problems with my electrical panel that was newly installed just last year, kitchen and living room lights were flickering, and finally no electricity in these areas.
Yesterday, on Sunday, nearly all electric companies were closed for business, but I found Stagg Electric LLC who can provide service.
Johnny showed up within 30 minutes, check through the unit and electrical panel, and gave me his findings and recommendations.
Nothing is wrong with my unit panel, but B line inside the panel is not getting electricity. Therefore, it could be either condo building's circuit breaker for my unit or HECO Meter is no good, or combination of both. We talked to building maintenance personnel, but since it was Sunday afternoon, nobody at building office was working. Johnny re-routed other 110V lines to good A-line so I can use all 110V (refrigerator, lights, microwave, TV etc.), so fresh and frozen food won't be spoiled, and I didn't have to suffer that night! (Thank God!) The only things that I couldn't use were dryer, AC, and cooktop (220V).
On next day, first thing in the morning, Johnny talked to building manager, explained him everything over the phone, contact HECO Emergency Service, then him and HECO service man showed up in less than 45 minutes.
They found no problem with HECO Meter, but found electricity flow of the breaker was very unstable (comes and goes), and recommended circuit breaker replacement. Manager agreed, so Johnny went out bought a new breaker, install it, came down to my unit re-wired everything back in place.
For all these since yesterday afternoon, it only took one full day to fix the problem!
I really do appreciate Johnny's knowledge, expertise, and diligently moving onto next and following steps!
I tried two other electric companies before, but Stagg Electric stands out way above them!

Spoke with Tyler (owner) regarding some electrical work I had. It was sort of an emergency as my last electrician didn't finish the job and never called back (who does that??). So I was left without electricity over the weekend before Tyler stepped in and saved the day. He was able to install a new electrical panel and hook up my electric water heater at my condo in 1 day. I really appreciate Tyler's honesty, flexibility and compassion when it came to this job. He was more than fair with his price and I couldn't have had a happier outcome after the debacle before.

If you have any electrician needs, don't hesitate to give Tyler a try. He is also a licensed contractor with his own business, not just a side jobber. He also can take credit cards, which is super helpful when it comes to paying large sums. Thanks again to Tyler and Stagg Electric for saving the day!
