Over the Memorial Day weekend we lost power upstairs and we couldn't restore it. Then it just went on. We knew there was a problem. We called SRP and they came out. They diagnosed the problem and sent in a crew. They were on time and quick. Built four new circuits, replaced all the outlets and switches, gave us some great advice as did a project on our patio! They were clean, responsive, professional, and nice! Outstanding customer service. We strongly recommend them.

This business is outstanding. I had an emergency at my home and they arrived on a Saturday within 30 minutes of my first call. The technician was professional, throughly knowledgeable, and extremely honest. He alerted me to the fact that the part that is broken might still be under warranty. If the part isn't still under warranty I will definitely call this company asap and give the work to them.

The gentleman assign to my project was prompt, honest and efficient. I had changed out a receptacle and shorted out something somewhere. The initial person i spoke with asked me some troubleshooting questions and then made sure i checked my breakers as he did not want to have to charge me 120.00 just to reset breakers. He was very homest and interested in my best interest.

I had to call Steve Pena on Mother's Day, left a message expecting a return call on Monday. However he called right back asking enough questions to be sure everything was safe to wait until the next day. I was impressed that he recalled the details of rewiring my entire mobile home back in September 2018. He was here Monday morning and quickly found and took care of the problem. We had gotten water in an outside outlet while washing the home and the arc fault protection had done its job! I highly recommend SRP Electric. Knowledgeable as well as reasonably priced. We hired Steve of SRP (Steven R Pena) Electric after reading other Yelp reviews and talking with 3 other electricians over the course of a year about upgrading a very old electrical panel. A single conversation with Steve convinced me he was the man to hire, and I was right! He is professional, honest, friendly, and a pro at what he does. Steve kept us in the loop, took care of permits, and guaranteed work would be completed on time for the SDG&E power on/off day. He was very thorough and explained everything in ways we could understand. He also took it upon himself to include some work in the job that wasn't included in the bid. He takes pride in his work, and I dare say, takes pride in being an upstanding, trustworthy, and kind businessman! We will call Steve for any future electrical needs!

Steve, Danny, and Edward came to fix the wiring at my home.
I was very impressed by their professionalism and attention to detail. Steve was friendly, and Danny was meticulous.

Steve was very friendly. He explained the issues and kept me in the loop with the progress. After the work is done, I asked him to record his explanations of the issues we still have (this is unrelated issues with the work they did. Something that they found during the procedure). He recorded his explanations for me. It was very helpful because I knew I couldn't give detailed explanations to my husband when he came home).

Now I know why they receive five stars. I highly recommend SRP Electric :-)

One word.....Awesome!
Phoned early in the morning with an electrical issue and Steve was here in the afternoon. Obviously an experienced electrician, he was very professional and efficient as well as pleasant. I felt he was honest in his appraisal of the work that needed to be done and didn't gouge me on the price, which as a senior citizen I particularly appreciate. Highly recommend!

Guess what? You're gonna pay extra to have them come out on short notice and on a weekend. I was fortunate enough to get a call back from them within 20 minutes and they were able to come by the house on a Saturday afternoon within 4 hours of my calling. I had two breakers go out that needed replacing or the back half of my house would be without electricity. Not a BIG deal but jeez, for an extra charge of convenience, I had the lights on through the weekend. I called 7 other electricians with really good yelp reviews but they ain't coming to my place until Monday. Totally worth the extra charge to have them come out on Saturday. Maybe I got lucky?

Rudy from SRP Electric did a fantastic job.

Half of my condo lost power at 4:22 PM on a Sunday. Rudy was there by 6:00, and had the problem fixed by 6:56. It turned out to be a socket with a burned wire causing a short. Rudy replaced the socket and counseled me on how to avoid that problem in the future. He was friendly, meticulous and efficient.

I will definitely call SRP Electric again!
