Edward was very timely. I explained to him what I needed done. He looked at the wiring and was able to rewire a switch for me in my garage so the exterior garage lights would work with the motion sensor lights I wanted to install. My problem: Over the past few weeks, random lights around the house were flickering, the treadmill would slow on its own, and the space heaters would struggle and regain power. I changed out some of the 20 year old outlets but to no avail, the problem persiste.

I don't personally know any electricians so I Yelped it. I called S&B Electric yesterday (Saturday) around 3pm. There was no answer and no VM. So I called Split Electric and Edward answered right away. I explained my problem and he had me call PG&E first to test the neutral line. PG&E came out and completed the test. My house was receiving ample electricity.

Edward schedule an appointment for Wednesday and I was content except that my flickering lights got worse after the appointment was made. I called Edward back and asked him to move up the day. Edward said he will move things around and try to make it Sunday afternoon. Edward showed up Sunday AM.

Edward changed out my electrical panel and breakers in about 2.5 hours. Problem solved. No more flickering lights and low voltage. I was receiving 112 instead of 120. Now I'm at full load.

I fully recommend Edward and would use him again.

I contacted Edward on Saturday for an estimate on replacing an old overloaded electrical panel in my garage. He got back to me immediately and was able to provide a quote based on pictures and information I sent him. He was upfront and honest about the cost of the project and what was included in the work.

Can't say enough positive things about Edward! I contacted five electricians for bids and either got replies that were incredibly vague or incredibly expensive. Edward got back to me very quickly and came up with a simple and elegant plan to use a wireless switch to control the two slim line LED lights I wanted installed in a closet. Edward was flexible enough to do fit my job into his busy schedule. He was extremely professional and polite, texted and called me when he was on his way over, showed up on time, installed the lights, swept up after the work was done and did it all at 50% less than most of my other bids! I plan on having Edward rewire my main breaker box in the near future! I whole heartedly recommend Edward and Split Electric for any wiring projects!
