Having relocated to Livermore, I've lost connections with all my friends and general contractors whom worked in the Bay Area/Peninsula. I went on yelp and just as was suggested, I wish I could give Spitzer Electric more than 5stars. It was about 2weeks ago when I had called and spoke with Briana, Bryan's wife who immediately answered my call after a few rings when NO OTHER electricians did as I went down the list on yelp when finding ""Electricians"" in Livermore. Briana was already on her laptop typing away as I described my rather unusual situation below as follows:

I had a split 5second power outage from PG&E that caused a power surge triggering my smoke detectors and residential fire alarm bell to ring. After it soft-reset, it triggered again after 1min which happened consistently for a span of 3-4days with a 24hr cooldown period in-between (at least while I was at home with my family when not at work). I followed my Builders advice to reset the smoke detectors and had PG&E send an on-field technician to make sure our circuit breakers were not tripped. I was then told to reset my furnace; however, the air conditioning automatically turned on then off then on again so I just left the furnace switch off for over one month until we needed heat due to winter season.

Briana gave me an abundance of resources both from personal experiences, connections that she had a strong relationship with to include saving me money from resolving the issue over the phone instead of spending money/time performing a diagnostic test which would of been the last resort should my issue had reoccurred. Briana contacted me via phone and text through the entirety and even followed up with me after her business meeting when I totally had forgotten due to personals.

I highly recommend anyone living in Tri-Valley/Surrounding Areas or Bay Area to go with Spitzer Electric for their integrity, knowledge and expertise in all electrical work! And as I had mentioned before Briana is a Godsend; my family and I are kept warm throughout the winter night without having to worry about our smoke detectors/fire alarm bell triggering.

Very honest and straightforward. We've had two outlets installed on the outside of our house by them (240v for an electric car charger and a 120v RV outlet) Both were done quickly and at a very reasonable price. Would definitely use them again.

Spitzer Electric is the cream of the crop when it comes to electrical work. I have had Bryan do multiple jobs in my home. He has always done a great job at a great price. We've gone through a few contractors and electricians that either didn't do the job right or didn't even complete their work! Bryan was able to fix problems with lights and wiring that others were not able to fix. It's a big sigh of relief to know that our issues were solved thanks to Bryan. He's friendly, clean and is really great about scheduling. I have even called him to install all new wiring for our hot tub with little notice and he came through and did a stellar job.

I highly recommend Spitzer Electric and we will definitly be using them again in the future!

I had called a couple of electricians before calling Brian without success, but Brian answered his phone and was over in 10 minutes after we hung up! He was able to quickly address the electrical issue and was very affordable. I will definately use him again.

He showed up early, and took his time to thoroughly investigate the electrical issue I was having. I called Bryan and asked him to come look at some issues we where having with outlets and give us a quote. He was able to be super flexible with our schedule and maintained communication without me throughout the scheduling process.

Once he got there, he was SO THOROUGH. He could have given a quote and left, but he checked all our problem lights, our outlets, crawled up in our attic, crawled under our house, investigated and fixed the issue, and even identified and helped solve a plumbing issue and a fire hazard in the process.

Needless to say, he went above and beyond to make sure no stone was left unturned, was really personable and we will be contacting him in the future!
