Speedy electric was sent out by my warranty co. o fix my a/c . the fist guy they sent added refridgent and didn't change the thermostat , i yold him that's what I thought the problem was: did not resolve my issue. A second guy came replaced the thermostat and said the unit has too much coolant and will need to be emptied and refilled and did not do it said there will be a charge. Why should I pay when their guy is the one that over filled it.
This company is not savory.

Worst service, lying cheats about , untruthful about the job performed; Had to call another company to correct all the errors made by SPEEDY. Do not trust these people. They ripped me off for $1000 and refuse to speak to me over the phone. Gwynne

After a bad storm passed through our neighborhood we lost power in our garage. I checked the breaker and all appeared well. I replaced it just in case but still no power. I searched online for an electrician and settled with Speedy Electric as they were able to send a technician the following day. The customer service rep stated they charge $49 for the service call but it's waived if you do the repair with them. Seemed reasonable but what they fail to tell you is there's a $289 diagnostic test to determine where the problem lies. I'm a novice when it comes to electrical work so I reluctantly agreed to the service as I thought it was a serious problem. Well it wasn't. I didn't realize that behind some boxes there was a GFCI outlet that had tripped. Even though I'm a novice even I know all you have to do is press the reset button to regain power. I give credit to the technician for finding the outlet but to charge me $289 for pressing a button is outrageous. That's highway robbery and a terrible way to run a business. When I complained the best they could do was give me a $20 coupon. Really? I would've been completely fine with paying the $49 service fee. Now instead of giving Speedy a positive review and recommendation they get this negative review. Strongly don't recommend Speedy as they will rip you off. Wish I would've read the reviews before going with Speedy as I noticed a few others have been ripped off as well. Don't make the same mistake as we did and go with someone else. You've been warned.

If I could give zero I would.

Was told on the phone it would be $40 to come out and check our outlet. Upon arrival the electrician pulled out a book with the cheapest price to ""troubleshoot"" being $278. That was not what was communicated on the phone.

I understand if we needed him to fix a problem, it would have been an additional charge, but $278 for what? Just to see if there is a problem? What is the $40 for? He said $40 was just to drive over.

I didn't go with their service as it is such a rip off and poor communication. He was at my house for less than 5 minutes and still charged me the $40 as a travel fee.

What a joke. Found a reputable electrician to come out, fix outlet, and reconnect oven for $100. All is working well now.

Go with ANY other company. I promise it'll be worth it.

Called for an electrician to come out to look at my breaker on Labor Day. Did not expect much but they said they would have an electrician out that day. Good stuff.
I get a call saying the electrician will be there in an hour.
- 1 hour passes. I assume the guy might be busy since it's a holiday
- 1 hour and 20 minutes pass by. Give a call to the customer service rep and she says she will reach out to the electrician.
- 1 hour and 40 minutes. Call again and the representative says the guy can't come out after all.
The low rating is for the fact I had to keep calling for updates. Bad on communication. Ended up just going with someone who I believe will be show up or at least communicate.

Prompt service. Nice service guy. But they have a knack for price gouging! I probably could have flown an electrician first class to Hawaii cheaper. Also, go take an electrician repair class at one of the local schools. Just educate yourself then you will know more. These guys are RIPOFF artist in the first degree. Never again.

I wanted to write you and let you know Sonya that's answers the phone at your Roswell location with the phone number 770-649-9400 is the rudest lady I have ever dealt with. I called because my home warranty company gave me the number to inquire about setting up an appointment. She answered the phone and I was starting to tell her I had a warranty company and she cut me off and told me it takes 24hours and hung up. I was trying to tell her I had a job Id and she had already hung up on me. I called back and she answered and again I tried to tell her again that I had a job ID and she then cut me off and told me I had to wait 24 hours and she would call me tomorrow (but never asked for my name or phone number)and hung up again. I was furious at this point. I waited a few more minutes and called back and before she could interrupt me again I told her to please let me speak that I had a job ID and wanted to set up an appointment. She then rudely told me that she was on the other line and would call me back. I then asked her how she planned to do that when she had not taken my number. She then hung up on me AGAIN!!!! I called the warranty company and got a name of another company. I have to say if this is how potential customers will be greeted when they call you will not be in business long. I think Sonya needs some training in customer service. I had a horrible first impression of your company and it was just an interaction over the phone. Good luck!

Speedy Electric in Roswell, Georgia USA sent out a technician for my insurance company and the technician told my husband and I that our fuse box was doing what it was suppose to be doing by tripping so it wouldn't overload. He said our fuse box was a good one and that we didn't need to do anything. Great! So everything looked good. When I called up the insurance company to check on my warranty, I was told about the work that was done......What work? So I apparently had some reconfiguration of some wiring done.......somewhere....I don't know where. My husband and I were standing right there with this technician and he didn't do anything in our house. He had me sign a blank worksheet and told me that he needed to fill it out in his truck. I stated that we didn't have any work done and he said it was for the insurance company to let them know that he had come out to our house. Now I can see why he didn't fill it out in the house. I will never recommend that anyone call Speedy Electric to do work in their home.

Alex was great. I'm moving and needed some minor repairs to my home, and he clearly explained my options and all prices were provided upfront after the initial assessment. He provided me with a detailed receipt, and two year guarantee on the work provided (most companies only give one year). My only complaint is that he was stuck on a job that had him arriving two hours outside the one hour arrival window. I was informed that he would be about an hour late, but called to follow up regarding the two hour delay. This pushed my schedule back, and I had to leave before the work was done, but he was accommodating in letting my neighbor know when the work was done so she could lock up, and called me to confirm completion as well.

I have used Speedy Electric twice for electrical services. Electricians are always courteous, knowledgeable and the office/dispatch calls to advise if the team is behind schedule and at least 30 minutes prior to arrival. The work is great and carries a 1-year warranty. I highly recommend them!
