Timely & reliable service. Excellent communications & status updating. I recommend Speedy. Kudos to Sarah in the office for her always updating us on status.

Did everything quoted. Lots of research and they came through for me. I would use them again.

First class operation. I explained my problem and my need for quick service. The office was helpful and sent an expert to deal with several issues over a period of two days. We were very satisfied and would deal with them on any future problem.

Only one star because zero is not an option.
When making appointment the woman named Barbara,'must have said ""we have an on-time guarantee"" five or six times. The email they sent said we have a guarantee. We will show up within the two hour window ...guarantee.
Appointment was 1300hrs. At 1500hrs no call - no show.
I called and to say WTF in so many words. Went to voice. Minute later I get a call which back and provided me a chance to say WTF in so many words. Lady said oh, our employee got held up longer on first appointment. FIRST APPOINTMENT. So knowing everything was going to be backed up you'd think a EXPLETIVE company that boasted about and hammered home a ""GUARANTEE"" would have reached out. No. Without missing a beat she says we'd like to reschedule for Tuesday.
I hung up.

The electrician who came to "" see what the
problem with the fan was "" quickly knew upon simple inspection that I needed to get a new ceiling fan and then call them for the
Installation. he changed the batteries in the
control device, checked the on/off switch and that was all. He handed me a $229 bill
for troubleshooting! Just like that, in cold blood, completely indifferent to my unnecessary expenditure, of which he had been aware all along. I guess professional honesty is not part of their job description.
indeed nothing was fixed. What a shameful
disregard for the customer AND their own reputatio.Never again

Used to be our go to electrician. Recently, they have mis-diagnosed a problem which they charge up front $179.00 fee. Sent us down the wrong path and we needed to call another company to solve the problem which they did within 10 minutes of arriving.
'We have requested a refund of our $179

We hired Speedy Electric to install two dimmable LED lights over a bathroom vanity. I had purchased the lights and the LED drivers. Twice they came out and weren't able to do the job and eventually told us we needed different lights. They then installed two lights that were not dimmable and told us that the problem was with our Vantage lighting system. Our lighting system contractor, who recommended them, came out to see what was wrong. He told us that the lights they used were cheap LED lights that no one in the industry uses anymore. On top of that they are non dimmable. After three visits we were charged $611.00 for lights that didn't work. This gentleman called Jesse, the owner, and we called Jesse multiple times. He doesn't take or return our calls. He also told me that I had purchased the correct lights and all they had to do was drop the LED drivers from the attic.

I'm surprised I haven't rated these folks before. Shame on me. They deserve better.
Close to three years ago these folks installed so new light fixtures and fans in my home and I was very happy with their work. At the time I had them price out some additional work I wanted to consider and ended up putting off.
Fast forward to now and the home is on the market and decided to follow through on changing out the recess cans in the kitchen and the smoke alarms, and repair the wiring to one of the garage coach lights.
The appointment came off without a hitch. They sent me a text to let me know that Don, the electrician was about to arrive. It included photo of Don so that I could recognize him. Don was put down a tarp on the floor to catch any debris as he removed the old ceiling fixtures. He also put a pad over the stovetop to protect it. He was very deliberate and safe in going about his work using ladders. He put tape over switches as a precaution. When completed, he took away the boxes and left things clean.
He noticed that my three way switch with dimmer wasn't working properly and showed me my error in installing it myself. So, when completed the lighting looked and worked better than before. The reason we should leave electrical work to the pros.
The kicker to all this is that Don showed me a lubricant to use on my sliding glass doors to get them to work like new. You will have to call Speedy Electric and ask for Don to find out what that is.

I received a quote of $3900 to do the electrical work in my kitchen. I was required to put 50% down to schedule the appointment and then I was required to pay an additional $1500 once they completed the rough work. I have been calling Speedy since 10/30/19 to schedule an appointment for them to come out and finish the work and they will not answer my calls, or I am told that someone will call me back and no one returns my call. I have never worked with a company that has been so unprofessional with how they deal with their customers. I am currently looking for another company to complete the work so that I can finish my kitchen.

This is absolutely the worst company I have ever had the misfortune of working with. I contacted them to provide 3 services and was given a 2 hour window that the electrician would arrive at my home. Barbara called me one hour before he was to arrive and said he was not going to make it due to some excuse and rescheduled for 2 days later. I now understand that they do this frequently depending on how much they can make. On the second appointment the electrician was 3 hours late so now I had 2 days shot waiting for them. The electrician was very nice actually and did a very nice job on the work he performed. After finishing he required that I pay him on the spot which I did with a credit card and he said he would email the receipt to me. When I eventually got the receipt it only had the total amount with no breakdown of the various jobs. As I needed the breakdown in order to be reimbursed for one of the tasks by my community I called the company and talked to Barbara who was without doubt the most obnoxious business owner and also biggest liar I have ever had the displeasure of interacting with, she said she would email it to me that day. When I did not get it I called back for the next 3 days and was told I would get it shortly. Needless to say I did not and will not ever get it. I have not idea what their problem is since i never questioned the price they charged or anything, just asked for a simple breakdown. I am filing a complaint with the State of Florida and if I can't get reimbursed because of their ridiculously poor business practices I will also go to small claims court. This company is a sham! By the way I am a little ashamed of myself as well since they were recommended to me by a neighbor so I neglected to check on them online beforehand, and also that because I did like the electrician I actually gave him a tip which was pretty much solicited on his tablet that I had to sign when paying. My bad!!
