Poorly customer service and poorly service. Nothing gets done through them. Does not recommend. The manager needs to work on his attitude.
Do not know why there is a less than great reviews on Speedy Electric because we just had the best experience with them.
They were recommended to us by an electrician who admittedly did not have the equipment or the skill set to resolve our issue.
Speedy proved to be prompt, professional and affordable: our two technicians, Robert and Skyler, found the cause of a very difficult to find problem. Based on what the first electrician said, we expected the worst with visions of having to break through walls, furdowns and air ducts in our thirty plus year old home but through a very thorough inspection the problem was resolved with everything left intact. Highly recommend!
Speedy came out for a spring check up, and talked us into needing four pounds of freon. Well, three other companies agreed it was ridiculous to put that much refrigerant without looking for and finding a leak, and two weeks later, the unit went out. We called another company, who fixed a part and had to take out the extra freon bc the unit was overcharged.
What's worse, I spent weeks playing phone tag and getting told someone would call back trying to rectify them having us pay 250 bucks for freon we didn't even need. They keep telling us someone is in a meeting, not in, has to look at an invoice, etc.
It's one thing to have a tech mess up, but it's bad business to be this flippant about trying to rectify an issue with a customer.
So much for that money saving spring check up.

I have issue with mold around the AC vent. I called speedy for appointment and made sure that it is possible for them to notify me ahead of time prior to arrival. I was not able to wait 4 hours window due to my job. It never happens. I got a call when the technician was at the door already. Me and my boyfriend drove through traffic to the house but the technician left. He told us to change filter. I asked if he can help us change it as he is already there. (It is rental property) He refused and left for the next job. I end up pay 49$ with additional 325$ quote for vent cleaning. It is much more expensive than other company.
The communication should be improved big time. We are in 2016 and how hard it is to notify ahead of time. The operation seems to be 1990 style. I wish they could have told me that they are not able to notify customer. I would have not waste time with them. I pay 49$ trip charge dollars for nothing.
They need more staff to handle the front desk and schedule properly.

only time will tell, but as of right now, this is all that I can give them. they might be at the mercy of the warranty company, but they have been to my house 6 times already, and my ac is still not working properly...
Michele B.My home warranty sent this company out because my thermostat was not turning on they came out took the guy about an hour or two to figure out that my thermostat had a short... Two weeks later my ceiling starts leaking from the A/c. Now I am not blaming him but I've lived here a month with no issues and he comes and all if a sudden I have to patch my kitchen Ceiling... Call my warranty again they send this same company back out and he tells me there is no leak from my duck work!!! A day and half later more leaking in my kitchen! They are worthless and do not know what they are doing!!!!!

No BS from these guys... they get straight to it and repair the problem. I had Elite AC out to the house initially and I was fed a load... ""you're going to need X, Y and Z and did I mention it could be had for only $9K?""
Speedy saved me from an $8,500 mistake. If I ever need anything for my AC I will be calling them back without hesitation.
Nick N.This business responded to an American Home Shield service request. The cook top on my Jenn-Air stove would not heat large pots of water to boil, although it would heat smaller saucepans of water to boil. When the Speedy Electric contractor called to confirm the appointment I explained the problem in detail. Nevertheless, he said he would have to look at it.
When he arrived, I demonstrated the problem with a large pot. He then said, ""Oh, your cook top element has a sensor in it that prevents it from staying full-on with pots that are not completely flat on the bottom. That will be 75 bucks, please.""
Since he obviously had encountered this issue before, HE SHOULD HAVE EXPLAINED THIS TO ME ON THE PHONE, instead of wasting my money! Since he did nothing, I would like to be reimbursed for the $75.
Steven F.Although parties who answer the telephone at Speedy Electric are ""friendly"" and ""professional"", the customer service at this company is less than professional. Three appointments later and our electrical issues still is not resolved. The first appointment was a ""no show"" after waiting through a four window without a telephone call, and the technician arrived on the second appointment time almost two hours late after a four hour window; however, only because we contacted Speedy Electric to follow up on the status. When speaking with an alleged owner / supervisor, the party stayed he question if we were at fault due to the repair not being completed. In addition, we experienced additional outages due to an error made by the Technician that had to be completed by another vendor.
It is unfortunate to have to write a negative review. Although I appreciate the efforts to attempt to complete our repairs, I do not appreciate being questioned when it is apparent that this company needs to question their ethical and professional responsibilities.
