Beware, Trevor is extremely incompetent and a complete rip off.
All we needed was a simple 240 panel swap
First he gave us a price to start in 3 days and a price to start in 5 days for 8k more. This was on a formal written quotation.
We chose 3 days because it was an emergency. He ended up ordering the wrong panel and by the time the replacement was delivered, we were at 7 days. He still charged us the additional 8k.
Next, the 2nd panel had a connections approximately 12"" further than the original panel. Without quoting or even indicating that we would have to pay for this he replaced a few feet of 100 amp wire and added $4200 to the invoice!
The best one is the $1500 he added to ""determine which phase the stinger leg was was supposed to be on."" He checked alright by process of elimination. He guessed wrong and caught my office on fire! What kind of person has the nerve to charge for that after setting your building on fire.
We ended up withholding payment on the last 2 charges to get clarity from him about their legitimacy. He showed up at our business very hostile and started screaming about giving him his money and what he would do if I didn't. He had already been paid the 19k on the original estimate. He would not listen to anything or leave and ultimately I had to threaten to call the cops to get him out of there.
This guy is a scam artist and a safety hazard. Save your wallet and your building and hire someone else.

Highly recommend Trevor for electrical work. He knows his stuff and is very personable. I was having issues with the light switches in my kitchen. He replaced all the switches, outlets and plates and everything is working perfectly and looking great. He takes his time and has a great attention to detail. I will definitely contact him if I have electrical work to be done.

I got quotes from three different electricians and Trevor's was midrange but his attention to detail for the quote was the best with the safety inspection that was clear and easy for me to understand as a person who knows nothing about electrical work.

They ended up changing lights in my hallway, adding new plugs, installed my dryer plug and even loved it into the room for me. My panel is upgraded and I will work with him to get the outside panel updated once I am back in town.

The only thing I would change is not having him come sooner cause I could of had this all done if I would of just hired him instead of trying out more electricians.

Just terrible. Do not use. Despite repeated reminders, did not lock doors when they left for the day. Also left a messes in the kitchen, in the fridge, and elsewhere (cigarette butts and empty cans). Completely unprofessional. So bad I ended up firing him.

I had an appointment with the typical ""arriving between 9am-1pm. At 2pm no one had shown up or bothered to call me. At 2:45 I got an email ""appointment cancelled"".

Trevor has created quite a thriving and solid business with SSE. No nonsense, no unnecessary up selling and straight talk on what you need and what you don't. He took a trashed electrical system in our home in Hayward and had it up to code in under 2 days time. Never missed an appointment with us (we had him perform upgrades as well for a hot tub and RV 50A outlets).

Trevor is great. Other than being a very knowledgeable electrician he was also very personable and easy to talk to. He completed the work as we discussed and even allowed some extra time for me to add the installation of an additional outlet in my attic. I will be calling him again when I need additional electrical work done.

Warning!! This Trevor is a rip-off! One hour of work replacing a electric base board heater which we purchased ourselves. He charged $300. for replacing an existing heater and $200. for attaching the thermostat! This was on a Saturday late which the company had schedule because our Friday appointment was moved because they were too busy to come out on a regular day. Then he had the nerve to ask for a tip too! Bottom line $600.00 foe one hour!
The company will get a bad press through my fellow of realtors and property managers!
