I wanted to update a 1-star review I posted about two weeks ago. You can read that initial review online so I'm not going to repeat it hear other than to say SW Florida Electric was clearly listening. They responded the day after I posted the review wanting to understand why I had given them such a poor review. Bottom line...you got dinged because you failed to respond to my initial outreach. They explained that they had been busy but acknowledged that they should have responded more quickly. That honesty went a long way. They also reassured me that they would return the money I had paid for a service contract. That check arrived today so, in my mind, they have fulfilled the promises they made. I'm sorry that it took a poor review to get this resolved but I think it's fair to say that this company did listen, did act and did the right thing.

Thinking about a generator? We are happy to give a shout-out to Southwest Florida Electric, the company that installed our Generac 22. The front office immediately responded to any questions and concerns taking the time to explain each step of the process. Not only were our calls answered promptly, we were called when the installation time had to be moved up two hours. Power was off for just a few hours while the work was being done. Couldn't be happier.

I cannot recommend this company highly enough. The company is well run, organized and honest. They told me that they are not the cheapest around but I found them to be cheaper than other companies that gave me estimates. They get the job done efficiently and do a solid job of cleanup. They even had to dig up a bush in my yard which they took with them. No mess afterwards. In the middle of my installation my air conditioner stopped working so I called to see if the problem was related to their installation. Jaron, the owner, came out and inspected the generator, my breaker box and the wiring and found no problems. He went one step further and discovered a clog in my air conditioner.

He then proceeded to climb the ladder to use my shop vac to get all of the water out of the pan. It took him four trips up the ladder. Then he went outside to suction the clog out of the air conditioner system. At a very difficult time for me my angel, Jaron, rescued me from being unbearably hot all evening when my air-conditioning company never even called me back. Jaron, you have a customer for life! Hire them!

We have lived in our home in North Fort Myers for over twenty five years. Recently there came a need to have our electrical box updated (new generator and other improvements). Southwest Florida Electric Inc. was recommended, so we called Jaron, who gave a fair estimate of the job to be done. We gave his company the contract and he stated on time and finished the rewiring when scheduled and cleaned up any accumulated debris. If you are looking for a company to complete your electrical needs, Southwest Florida Electric Inc. is your best bet.
