We began with a diverse range of general construction projects, focusing on residential remodeling and new builds. Approximately 20 years back, we dedicated ourselves to electrical work. We no longer engage in general construction, but we hold both general and electrical licenses. Our expertise in residential remodeling is extensive. We have thousands of satisfied clients. A significant portion of our work is from returning customers and referrals. Our ratings on Angie's List are exceptional.

I was surrounded by construction from a young age. Once I graduated from college, I entered the teaching profession for several years. While I was an educator, I began to help individuals with various home jobs. Eventually, friends motivated me to launch my own venture. I attribute our success to a strong commitment to customer satisfaction. I find fulfillment in helping others make their dreams a reality.

Steve is a great electrician and has very fair pricing. We had a number of projects where I needed help including adding a 240V outlet in the garage for an electric car. He came out on time and got everything done efficiently and we were very happy. I would recommend Steve to anybody looking for an electrician.

I was looking to get a 240V line put in my garage from my EV Charger.. Steve came out and gave me an estimate without any BS like many of the other contractors. His priciig was the lowest from anyone else and he was able to fit in the install within a few days whereas others were making me wait for over a month.

On the day of the job, Steve showed up early with his crew and were done within a couple of hours.. Work was done excellent with no mess left for me to clean.. I was very impressed.

5 Stars to Southwest Electric and will surely hire them again for my Electrical needs.

Southwest was referred to us by our realtor. We've called twice and left names and numbers. No response at all. I guess they don't want our business.

We recently had a bunch of odd jobs that we needed done including installing a ceiling fan, replacing a bathroom fan and lighting fixture, and installing some external outlets. Steve provided an estimate and his 2 guys arrived promptly ready to work- they were here for about 1/2 a day and got everything done as promised, We will use these guys again for more jobs bc they were very professional, clean, and yoy could tell they knew what they were doing. Thx Soouthwest!!!

I cant claim to be a customer yet but I can say I will be a customer. Steve is one of the rare people out there that cares rather just quotes. I called Steve to estimate a job and he told me it was not necessary and showed me what I needed to do. Steve and Southwest Electric Thank you.

I have a two story townhouse that gets hot up stairs in the summer. The two upstairs bedrooms have vaulted ceilings with no existing electrical ""cans"" in the ceiling. So, I needed an electrician to install the cans and wire in the associated switch.

So, I called a few contractors and eventually hired Steve who provided a reasonable estimate and was easy to get along with. During the estimate visit, Steve recommended a creative way to retain the switch for wall receptacles ((think table or floor lamps) and add a dedicated switch for the ceiling fans. He also recommended a whole house fan that I hadn't thought of. So he has a bit of creativity and experience to help suggest improvements.

He and John showed up on time for the estimate and install. They also respect the customers home by doing a clean job, tarping the work area and picking up after themselves. They're both very personable and are a pleasure to work with.

We recently had Southwest make extensive upgrades to our new home, including a 200 amp upgrade to our panel. They showed up on time, offered excellent observations/insights/ideas (also bringing up things that I'm really glad they pointed out, without being pushy at all), and were meticulous about their work. Steve, Mike and John are a company of three (I think), so you always know who you're dealing with, and they could not be nicer or more professional. I have complete peace of mind in the high quality of the work, and also the knowledge that if I ever did have a problem I could call and it would be taken care of promptly.

If you want responsiveness, reliability, excellent work, reasonable prices and really nice guys you'll enjoy having in your home, Southwest Electric is as good as it gets.

★★★★★

Steve, who I believe is the owner, is really responsive and gets back to really quickly. I've used them several times and the electricians are very knowledgable and friendly. They do a great job and charge reasonable prices which is unusual for an electrician. When they quote a job they stick by the price even if it takes longer for them to complete it. I recommend them highly.

I've had Steve and Mike of Southwest Electric work on my house multiple times, and they do really terrific work.

They can do a wide range of jobs, including simple home fixes to They are a locally-owned business, extremely personable, and very professional in their work. Steve (the owner) always comes out personally to check on the job, and they get things done promptly and correctly. As my house is a 1970's era house, it really helps to have somebody who knows all the particulars (oddities?) of how the wiring works in the neighborhood.

I've had SW Electric work on my pool equipment, my interior lighting, add a ceiling fan, add attic fans, etc -- their prices are always reasonable and they take care of me quickly.
