We have used this business three times over the last few years and have received excellent service each time.
The first time Bill extended the life of our original furnace for another couple years and told us what to watch for in case it started to fail down the road.
Two years later Bill installed a brand new 2-stage furnace that works like a dream! It was a cold January and he got us on the schedule and all set up within two days.
After two miserably hot and humid summers we finally decided to install a central air conditioning system. Bill mapped out all new duct work to replace our crumbling 1969 existing ducts, and set us up with a beautiful trimline unit that fits nicely along the side of the house. The work was completed within 3 days with all hands on deck for the electrical, duct, and air conditioning work. Bill supervised the crew as needed and addressed any concerns that we had along the way. His crew is highly trained and knowledgeable, as well as pleasant and left everything neat and clean.
Bill and Cathy are the nicest people you could ever hope to meet and we are happy to support this family business!

Bill installed our Rheem High Energy Efficient HVAC system in 2007 and eleven years later it finally broke down (electric motor gave out). A quick call to Bill, and after an evaluation Bill order the replacement motor and had it shipped by next day air. Installation complete and fully serviced the unit was up and running with a minimum of down time during the first heat wave of the year. We simply could not be more happy with the quality of his service and do fully recommend him.

My mother told me ""there is nobody else"" when it comes to your heating and air conditioning needs. (And mothers always know best.). She was absolutely right. The work is impeccable and the staff is extremely professional and knowledgeable. Then there is Bill. Bill is the owner and takes so much pride in his company and their work. You just don't find honest and personable business owners that care about the customer like Bill does. Can't recommend them enough!

Once again I had the pleasure of calling Bill and Cathy the owners of Southern California Energy Services to service my HVAC system and to install a new wi-fi thermostat. Bill is always a little early which is appreciated with my busy schedule and he is as polite as can be. He always puts on the ""booties"" to protect the carpet and his knowledge of the HVAC systems is unbelievable. I truly believe he can do any job with his eyes closed. I have referred him to friends and they too have been very satisfied. All the other employees I have dealt with are professional and are assets to the company. I recommend So Cal Energy Services for your HVAC needs. Oh and they do electrical as well.

I have dealt with many contractors from all types of trades and have had many good and bad experiences but this has been the most memorable due to the respect and service we received from the owner Bill and his crew. Everyone was professional and the care and cleanliness that was involved with the installation was better then anything you will find. In our case we had a full installation. A new furnace and ac unit along with replacement vents and new ventilation and vents added to an addition to an addition that was never ventilated in the past- it was a big job! The furnace was relocated to the attic and the new one was a trane system. The price was extremely competitive and from the start Bill had an interest in doing business with us and giving us the options that we didn't know we wanted. Imagine doing business with someone who provides everything mentioned and does it with a genuine smile and attitude, that's Bill who will do what it takes to go above and beyond until your confident it's right. Very happy with this company!

SCES did an awesome job installing our a/c! They installed it quickly, even after we asked them to extend the a/c into our addition which had no ducts available. Bill, Martin and Cathy are very professional and great people. This is the second time they've been in our home. They installed a new furnace for us a few years back and it works like a champ! At that time Bill said he installed it so it would be easy to add a/c in the future. It's so refreshing to work with people who think towards the future and not just get the work done and get out. Additionally I'm pretty sure my house was cleaner after they left than before they arrived!

I'm writing this review based solely on Bill coming to inspect the problems of our AC unit. Cathy (who is very courteous) called to see if Bill can arrive 15 minutes earlier then planned and I said yes. He was there exactly at that time. (This was critical since I had to meet him on my lunch hour) He arrived smiling ear to ear and was the friendliest guy ever! Very polite, jolly, and knowledgeable. He was able to tell me what the problem was and what the next steps would be. I was able to return back to work within the hour. He was very pleasant, which is very reassuring and I believe the work they will do will be just as good! I will update this review once the work has been completed. :)

If their technicians are as irresponsible as the guy who drives their van, I wouldn't let them near my home. Driving recklessly and rudely in a vehicle with the company logo all over it - and not caring - doesn't speak well for pride in the company.

Outstanding service from SCES Inc.!!! Bill and Cathy are totally customer focused from the day they installed our heating and A/C systems ten years ago through the annual service and maintenance we request. We are 110% satisfied with Bill and his team's work and have never had a call back or a problem. Bill will explain step by step what is being done in a easy to understand manner. Highly recommended!
