Trash. Outages all the time and no response. No way to get ahold of anyone on the phone.

100% agree but I don't think Edison has employees. So many phone numbers and no live person in over 2 weeks. I have solar and after verifying my panels are working SCE is stealing my solar and charging me for their electricity. No wonder I can't reach them. But I will get my money back they stole!

Power outages without warning or explanation love how you can't even speak to anyone at SCE, you go on their app and it's not working you go on the website and it's not working. I called the phone number and to report emergency and it doesn't work, criminal , reach out to your local legislators and let them know Southern California Edison has a monopoly on power so they don't care about their customers!

There is absolutely no way to contact a human being who works for SCE. It sucks living in a 1st world country and having to deal with 3rd world utility companies. There is not a single positive review about SCE and that is just the way Public Utilities Commission wants it.

My bill went up to $368. Guess I can't afford to do anything or cook for myself anymore. I'll just sit here in the dark and never use my utilities or my TV and then they wanna make our cars fucking electric. You guys are fucking inept!!!!! And everything we buy nowadays is all electric, whether it be iPads, iPhones gaming, movie, streaming , surveillance systems, etc.... Get your head out of your ass Southern California Edison!!!

If I can give zero stars I would.Today we had a power outage since 5:48 pm. It's 11:39 pm now and still no power.when I called the answering machine said it's being worked on,so I drove arround the area.No trucks in sight anywhere fixing anytging whatsoever! It's hot,my house has 4 heart patients. The refrigerated meds are starting to go bad. Edison lied about the repairs,but oh they are ready to charge you a huge summer bill would they have treated their families the same way? I hope one day you experience the same liars! You are good for absolutely nothing dirt bags!

Would give zero stars if I could. Very unreliable service, constant power failures without any notice and constant screwups with repairs resulting in more down times. And when you call to inform them you get nothing but a computer that can't find your account and hangs up after 3 attempts.Edison should not be the only supplier for electricity. This monopoly does nothing but screw the average individual

SCE reps entered my property without consent, got on my roof, and turned off my power in the middle of the work day (both my husband and I work from home). They rung the doorbell just once before helping themselves to trespass--both I and my husband were on calls at the time and unable to answer the door. When I complained to customer service the agent was apologetic but gave no way to escalate the situation after multiple requests. They're lucky they have a monopoly as I certainly wouldn't use their service if I could help it.

Outage for 5 hours. We're a block away from them. ""Repair Crew on the way."" For 5 hours. Nice.

SoCal Edison does not use email or chat for the ir Customer Service contact, only telephone.
I called in to ask about upgrading the main panel for my house to charge a future electric vehicle. I was on hold for over an hour and a half, and when I was able to talk to someone, she did not understand why I was asking the question because she admitted she was not an engineer or electrician.
When I tried to explain my question, she hung up on me. I was not being rude or abusive; I was just trying to help her understand the problem.
Too bad I can't go to another electric company.
