Bhaskar is a superhero without a cape! Bhaskar's company came to us highly recommended by a coworker, and I am so so thankful we had him work on our home.

We just purchased a new (older) home which we knew had electrical issues, needed a new roof, and we are interested in solar as well. We had consulted with a few electricians about our draining lights that dimmed anytime there was the SLIGHTEST uptick in energy use (i.e. fridge kicked in, the lights dimmed. Washing machine agitator spun, the lights dimmed to the beat). This level of electrical nuisance is not only annoying, but very scary. We were nervous the wiring was so bad, we could be subject to an electrical fire. Bhaskar made us feel at ease with his knowledge and after an initial inspection he assured us the issue was not dangerous for many reasons, but that he would get to the bottom of the draining issue.

We found ourselves in every homeowner's nightmare: with a non-straightforward issue that could sink us in endless costs trying to figure out what's going on.

Bhaskar was amazing at systematically running tests to get to the bottom of the issue, ruling out possible causes (bad wiring, bad grounding, not enough circuits, too many daisy chains etc. etc.)

We were preparing for the worst, a full house re-wire and panel upgrade. In the end, it was Bhaskar's vast experience with transformers and incoming utility wires that allowed him to isolate the issue with the city's power lines, and not our own wiring. We resolved the issue for a fraction of the cost, and we are THRILLED that Bhaskar squeezed us into his very busy schedule for what ended up being a smaller project for him and his team than expected. (We solved the dimming issue, installed recessed lights, wired a new doorbell, new chandelier wiring including a new switch, and fixed several can lights that were improperly installed by the previous homeowners).

We hope to have his team back for solar panels soon, and he will remain our go-to electrician!

First off he has a very cool name, Bascar. When you hire people to do some work on your house, you come across some people who seem over qualified for what they are doing. Bascar is one of those guys. Very professional and goes above and beyond. For my level two charger he searched Craiglist on my behalf to get me a used charger. He didn't have to do this for free, but he did and saved me so much money and time. When he was running late a bit due to the heavy rain, he called me before the appointment time to let me know of this fact. I will definitely call him again for my future work.

Bhaskar is an angel! Truly. Our electricity goes out. Edison comes by and says it's the breaker and bus...huh?! I start getting anxious because we don't know anything about this stuff. Bhaskar responded quickly and was so kind and patient on the phone despite it being a Sunday. He had another job that day but came by on his way home and saved the day. We have electricity now, paid a reasonable price, was treated with respect despite our lack of knowledge, truly unheard of...and on a Sunday afternoon! You will not regret it.

We received excellent service from Southbay NRG. They were very professional & experienced with solar panel technology systems and we could not have received better service. I highly recommend Southbay NRG for solar panel systems. Even though I did not utilize their roofing services, I suspect they are just as proficient in roof repair as in solar installation.
