Matt and his crew did a quick bedroom renovation in my home. Working with him was stress free, as he was very communicative throughout the process. He explained each step, every charge, and always gave options for every decision that needed to be made, which can be overwhelming. But he always gave his advice on what he would do to his own home, so I trusted Matt with my home right away. Matt carries solid experience, and it shows in his work as well as how he carries out the job. Very efficient. Matt quickly became a friend to us rather than just a contractor. Our experience with South Bay Renovations was amazing. My husband and I had a couple projects around our condo that we needed completed (laying flooring, grinding concrete, lighting, crown and base molding, etc.). When we first met with Matt, he was extremely attentive to what we wanted done and offered suggestions on how to improve our ideas. Out of all the people we had met with, we knew we wanted to go with Matt and South Bay Renovations because Matt conducted himself in a  friendly and professional manner and clearly knew what he was talking about.

When Matt's team began work at our condo, they made it so easy to maintain day to day life as my husband works from home, and were very considerate and conscientious. Often times they left our condo cleaner than they found it. Matt's team is very friendly and hard working. Matt himself often came by to check on the progress and oversaw some of the projects himself. If he wasn't happy with a project or it wasn't up to his quality of standards, he redid the project until it was flawless and he could be proud of the work.

If you're looking for any work in the general contracting realm at all, I would 100% recommend South Bay Renovations! Their work is excellent, they are competitively priced, and you know you're paying for quality work. Matt treats each customer as a priority. My husband and I won't be using anyone else from here on out and are looking forward to working with South Bay Renovation again for our future projects.

Matt did a meticulous job in the bathroom remodel. Love the way he lined up the tiles on the wall, floor and in the shower nooks. I would have never thought about it, glad he did. Also, thanks for Matt suggestion natural rock floor and the linear shower drain...two of my favorite features. Husband loves the way the rock floor feels on his feet!!!

Matt identified some leaks under the house. It was a bummer to have the leaks but he handled efficiently and quickly.

Appreciate the crew covering the floors and any area they worked on. They also left all work spaces clean each night.

The thing that was impressive to me was how patient and practical the owner Matt and his team was. I don't know much about carpentry but I know when it's done right. I told Matt what I wanted and he delivered. My bathroom was completely remodeled in 4 days and it better than I expected. I would recommend South Bay to anybody who hates nonsense
