Oh my I deeply thankful for this company. My garbage disposal caught on fire and kept smoking at 2am in the morning. The smoke was coming up through the sink so I thought maybe a fire was starting in my wall. I called and the owner sent his son in the am. They checked my wiring and it was good. They are soo honest and reasonably priced. I highly recommend them. It's very hard to find trustworthy people these days but this father and son are just that. Thank you both for getting me thru this situation.

Seriously best company and service ever! We needed work done on a rental property and we couldn't have asked for better service. Would definitely recommend this company for any electrical work. They won't nickel and dime you. They do what's needed and do amazing work!

I contacted South Bay Electric Company to install an Electric Vehicle charger. I received a quick response from Ian who tried to give me an approximate quote via photo and video (which I appreciated). My job was a bit more complex, so Ian came out and gave me a reasonable quote and suggested an installation option that was $2000 less than an other quote I got. Two days later, my charger was installed.

What more can you ask for? Reasonable prices, good service, and people who show up on time.

South Bay Electric came back yesterday to do more work, finalizing the repairs to our kitchen wiring issue. They installed a circuit to address overload, cleaned up sloppy wiring, installed garage lighting, and wired and installed another fan/light. Work areas were cleaner when they left than when they started!

The owner even helped me pick out garage lighting to meet my needs, which I was really grateful for. It ended up costing more, but the garage looks amazing now.

Gotta love professionals who do professional jobs right! I gave their info to both my neighbors who had similar circuit board issues.

Ok, so don't usually have this experience but I called Ian at 9 pm on weekday night to try and coordinate changing an outlet I have to a safer GFCI (yeah I know some lingo). He said he wouldn't be available until Thursday but did offer to give me tips on how to hook up the new outlet myself, fancy that.

I texted him a picture and he called me back with detailed instructions on what wire goes where. My plug was a little funky so I went to work and sadly, couldn't get the new plug working. I texted Ian back (at 7 AM the next morning) and he called me right away explaining the simple fix (GFCI's need a super hard hit on the reset button to trip the device which I did not know). I did what Ian suggested and it worked!

While I didn't get to hire these guys directly, they were super responsive and kind and helped me get my issue fixed. Will keep them in mind for future electrical work unless they want to keep training me :)

Again I've had to call on Ian for electrical work for the third time for various electrical work It does not matter how small the job they have come to accommodate me. They are always efficient and professional.they are pleasantly affordable I recommend them HIGHLY.
