Ronaldo ghosted me after sending a man to do an estimate. Last year in December I communicated with him about installation of new plugs throughout the house. I reminded him that SOS worked on our house in 2008 and did a good job and that was why I reached out to him again. Communication with him was good initially when setting up the estimate appointment. Then after his man left, I heard nothing. I waited until after the Holidays, didn't hear from him so I requested his estimate and months later, still no reply. I even wrote him separately that his man can come back and retrieve a tool he left behind but still not a word and nobody returned. In short, I still don't know why he is not interested in the job. No professional courtesy.

I am not a particularly easy person to please, I admit. But this company exceeded my expectations. They did have to reschedule my appointment for later in the same day because a staff member called in sick-that stuff happens. But the crew arrived promptly at the rescheduled time, was efficient, and made sure none of my property was damaged during the job, which was swapping out seven recessed halogen bulbs for more efficient LED bulbs in a sixteen foot high entry way and stairwell.
I will use this company again if the need arises!

This company is fantastic. I called in the am and had an electrician at my house within two hours. Fair prices, quality work and super responsive. Gary the electrician was great to work with and performed quality work with attention to detail. Can't recommend enough.

I initially contacted SOS as one of my bookshelf lights had become stuck and wouldn't turn off. They were able to get the light turned off while they located a new switch so it would work properly. I then hired them to replace the final nine in-ceiling halogen lamps in the house, a remnant of the remodel in 2013. Hector showed up on time and worked diligently but due to supply chain issues delaying the installation of the trims, the job stretched on interminably, with no lights in any of the home's bedrooms for around a month. They apologized and offered me a credit on the bill for the long delay and I'd have no problem hiring them again. I especially appreciate Hector, who's a very hard worker and very up front about what it'll take to get the job done. I like that this is a business founded by immigrants who go the extra mile.

The power in my hallway bathroom went out but the circuit breaker in the electrical box did not trip and the rest of the house was fine. I called another electrical company who came out and spent over 3 hours trying to trace the wire and power to that bathroom. They even cut into my wall. They couldn't find it and said only other option was to split the power with my washing machine which was right outside of the bathroom (Eichler house). I wanted a second opinion so found SOS on Nextdoor and emailed Ronaldo. He responded with some helpful tips but said they didn't have availability until the following week. I called him the next day and asked if he could just find some time to swing by to confirm that I had no other option. He was able to schedule Thiago Oliveira for a ""troubleshoot"" that afternoon. Thiago arrived a little after 2pm and within 15 minutes traced the wire back to the bedroom next to the bathroom. The hair dryer was the culprit and Thiago fixed the GFI wiring in my bathroom and electrical power came back. He was amazing and so friendly and courteous! I was so relieved and thankful that I found SOS Electrical. Thank you Ronaldo and Thiago!!

I have struggled to find a good electrician for years. Recently an acquaintance recommended SOS, so I contacted SOS for an intermittent electric problem in part of our house, and they responded with an appointment within the week. They were scheduled to come between 2-3pm, and at 2:18 the technician (Gabe) texted to say he was running a little late. He arrived well before 3, diagnosed the problem and replaced several old, corroded breakers, and cleaned up our old panel within an hour. Ronaldo called his technician during the service to make sure everything was done to the highest standard. The work was thorough, careful, and efficient. I will not hesitate to call on SOS the next time we need any electrical work!!

The electrical system in our house was original, aka from 1948 and the main breaker box looked self-made (scary.....). In order to get Solar installed, we first had to have our main panels replaced and got quite a few quotes. SOS not only provided one of the most competitive quotes, but they gave the best advice regarding placement of our new main panel and really tried to make it work the way we wanted it. The crew showed up early and worked tirelessly for almost 12 hours to get the job done in a day to make sure we have power at night. While at it, they replaced some key wires to our clothes dryer and other high powered equipment right next to the new panel, something I had not asked for, but obviously they did not like what they saw and just did it. I did not get nickel'd and dime'd. Then they came back another day to label all breakers and replace all breakers in a sub-panel. Outstanding people, outstanding service, and a strong dedication to quality and customer satisfaction. Highly recommended!

Had a very straightforward, easy electrical project and they quoted me approximately double what other companies quoted me for the first hour
