After removing a wall in our house, we needed some work done on exposed outlets sand we call the right electrician. Showed up on time, quoted a fair price, did the work right, and cleaned up after completing the job. The price was the same as the quote, and everything worked and looked great. This will be my go-to electrician now for all my household needs. Fair, honest and knowledgeable - that's what you need in an electrician.

Needed someone to come in and fix a botched wiring job by the previous home owner. These guys were able to find the screw up INSIDE the wall!! where the wiring was messed up - and fix it. Pretty reasonable too, and nice guys! I would recommend!

Parts of the house started loosing electricity, then we lost heat on Saturday. It happened to be one of the colder days in San Diego ~50F. I called up Solomon and Philip picked up the phone. He came over immediately. Showed me that all the breakers were burnt because the contacts were old and causing arcing. Philip explained everything in simple terms so I understood. Philip gave me a quote to replace the whole panel. I told him I needed to call a few other electricians to compare quotes as it was a lot of money. He said no problem, and left. I got two other quotes that were both about $400 more than his quote. I texted him back to see if he still would do it and how soon he could. Philip agreed and showed up at 8am on Sunday with his adult son to do the work. AMAZING! Nothing better than feeling the heat kick on when it's 55F in your house. Good to see family businesses and passing on vocation to your children.

Outstanding Price and Customer Service.

I found myself needing an electrician fix the overhead lighting in my kitchen. Not that big of a job, but my visually impaired father lives with me and low lighting is more difficult than no lighting at all. I utilized ""Home Advisor"" to request a quote and in less than five hours - my lighting issue was resolved. Phillip arrived when he promised and I was charged what I was quoted (and I want to point out that tubes shouldn't have been included - but Phillip covered the cost of the tubes. The level of customer service that Phillip provided was something that isn't seen a lot anymore. My 25-year old son made a comment about the level of customer service - ""...That's not something you see everyday..."" You won't be disappointed with this company.

When my 8 year old oven quit working, a Sears technician came out and advised me that the wire connection had melted and that I needed an electrician to do the repair. I called Solomon Electrical and spoke with Phillip for quite some time. He confirmed what the technician had guessed--that the problem most likely had to do with the initial improper installation. When Phillip came out, he took the time to explain to us what was done wrong initially (open splice; not in a junction box). He then went to get parts and returned to repair the oven wiring that same evening. Very prompt, thorough and professional. We will definitely use Solomon Electrical Services again.

I called Solomon Electrical after I installed a GFCI outlet that didn't work. I explained that I replaced an older GFI outlet that failed. The electrician told me that if I had wired it exactly like the old outlet, the wiring was probably backwards. Apparently the typical setup of a GFCI outlet had changed industry wide several years ago. I went home and swapped the Line/Load positions and the outlet now tests correctly! Though I didn't hire them, I certainly appreciate the tip. It saved me time and money.
