I negotiated a contract with Solinsky to repair a parking lot light fixture for my 65 unit condo association. After 10 weeks of doing nothing, footdragging and lame excuses I gave them one more week to execute the work. When that did not happen I fired them. Don't waste your time.

I've never been to Solinsky Lighting but I called them a few days ago looking for a lighting product that I needed for an event that was starting a few hours later. They didn't carry what I was looking for but Jenny graciously offered to do some research on where I might find it. During the next hour or two, she contacted me several times to give me leads on where I might find the product, updating possible locations as necessary to correspond with my movement around the Bay Area as I ran errands and looked for the product! She eventually found the product for me in another store, went there, bought several boxes of it for me, and offered to deliver them to the event because I was behind schedule!!!! She ended up meeting me at a convenient location so I could receive the items. I was able to reimburse her immediately but she had even offered to let me pay her later. I was able to deliver the items to the event just in time, because of Jenny's incredible generosity and effort. I couldn't believe how kind and helpful she had been, especially given that I wasn't even buying anything from her store. I used to work in retail, and if I thought that we didn't have a product that was right for a customer, I would happily refer them somewhere else that might be able to help them. Ever since then, I've considered that approach to be a sign of honesty, trustworthiness, and good customer service that makes me want to be a loyal customer. Jenny not only demonstrated that level of customer service, but went way above and beyond that standard. Thank you, Jenny! I wholeheartedly recommend Solinsky Lighting & Electric!

Great customer service throughout the entire experience. I had some tricky chandeliers that needed re-wiring. They went above and beyond to work with a third party to repair the situation, negotiate a warranty for us. Very professional and so nice! We are relieved to have found someone we can trust for all our electrical needs now.

I called Solinsky Lighting originally as I was having issues getting timely responses from another company. Jenny and Brad make a very good partnership, with Jenny providing very professional front line communication and quotes (and coordinating the team) and Brad providing detailed on-site inspections and sharing his recommendations/knowledge. They were very respectful of my budget and ensured the work could be done in line with my expectations. The electrician they appointed for my job completed the work to a high standard. I would definitely go to these guys as my primary contact for electrical needs in the future.

So just recently we did a kitchen remodel and decided to use Solinsky for the electrical part and wow...are they an all around great company! Brad Solinsky replaced some out-of-date electric panels, installed new light fixtures, and took care of grounding and other electrical safety issues. I found working with Brad and his capable assistant, Jenny, to be easy and enjoyable. I'd give Solinsky Electric 2 thumbs up. We needed to resolve an electrical issue before a final inspection and the original electrician wasn't available. Time was critical. I called Brad and he came to the rescue. He is knowledgeable, efficient and willing to work until the job is complete. Brad even followed up after the inspection to see how the inspection went. Thanks to Brad and Jenny we passed the inspection. It was really pleasure to work with them.

Brad and Jenny were great. After ordering an electric car, I needed to install a high powered charger and had 3-5 days left to get it installed before my car arrived. Got Brad to come, install it and after that came back when I was available (after hours) to conduct a load test to make sure that the charger wasn't using too much electricity. Here is why brad was great,:
- I had to cancel my appointment twice, he came after hours
- He arranged for the city to do an inspection of the work and get the appropriate permit
- He was able to fix another issue I had and all that with the right attitude!

Brad is younger than most electricians which means he knows more about recent technologies than other electricians - that's a plus if you are looking for better technology!

Brad is personable, professional, flexible, affordable and most importantly, he fixed our lighting problems.
We needed our outside lights fixed, which hadn't been working for years. Brad came over a crawled down below our deck and was able to find that the wires had burned apart and was able to fix it.
Then he happily accepted some add on requests to look at our other lighting fixtures which had been having problems and fixed those too and even provided some new halogen light bulbs that he had on hand.
Brad also pointed out some potential problems that we may have with our aging electrical system, but didn't make it seem like he was just trying to scare us into more business like some people do.
We are really happy to have an electrician who we feel that we can trust.
