My partner was in the ICU critical ill (not COVID) when my tenents' power went out. It was Saturday evening! The only 24-hour electrician I could find nearby was Dan. He was unbelievably great. He was straightforward and honest, flexible in making arrangements so I could go back to the hospital, and fixed everything perfectly in record time, even in my absence. He was also incredibly responsive...answered his own phone, no recordings, etc.! It is a real pleasure to pay him for his excellent and speedy service!

We were cutting in some doors in our business and needed some electrical cables and conduit rerouted to go above the doorways. Dan gave us a very reasonable quote (much less than what Angi's list said this job should cost) and set a time to arrive the very next morning. Everyone else was a few days to a couple of weeks for a wait for just the quote. Also, other companies charged to get a quote where Dan did it for free. The day of the work, Dan showed up early and jumped right into it. Not only did he do the work for the exact price of the quote, he also did a few extra small things for us that he did not add on to the price. He did an awesome job that we are very happy with. Dan was very responsive to all of our emails and phone calls throughout the process. He was very patient with all of our questions and answered each and every one with a smile. Dan went above and beyond our expectations. Without a doubt, we will be using Dan again for our electrical needs.

I had Solar Electric Pro (Dan) put up about 4.5KW system solar on my new house in a new community. Initially I liked the guy, and the quote he gave me and the promises he made. I signed up a contract with him.
I told him in the beginning that this house is a solar ready house (with conduits already ready). When I come home one afternoon from work, he had already put the wiring outside the walls. I reminded him it was a solar ready home and he shouldnt be putting wires from the outside. He told me that there were no conduits.
I walked around the neighborhood to see the other houses and told him the other houses did not have any outside wireings. So, basically, he had to redo the wireings through the existing conduits. But it was too late. He had already put big holes on my roof and walls. Because of this, the placement of other solar hardwares were not in appropriate places and I still have ugly pipes all over the wall.

This guy is very unprofessional and rude. When I refused to accept the panels to be dropped off to my place(and pay him the 8000 as per contract) until the above issue was fixed, he threatened to put a lien on my house. Why would one pay the majority of the remaining amount in the contract if the work has not been done correctly?

He also had promised I would have the ability to monitor the energy production on individual panels, but he did not give me that feature. I made the mistake of telling my neighbor about him who also got the solar from him, and he made a big mess there too where my neighbor is very unhappy.

He promised me he would help me do the paperworks for the PG&E rebate, but he failed to do that as well.

Just beware before you deal with this guy. I hate writing bad reviews for a small business like this, but he gave me no other options. I asked him about all this, and he is either not responding or saying that he can not make me happy.

It's nearly impossible getting a company to just call you back nowadays. But Dan was super quick to respond to my request for a quote and was so fast at answering all my emails and calls that he deserves 5 stars just for that. He answered all my questions, showed up when he said he was going to and did an amazing job on moving my electric panel to a new location. Dan was friendly and professional and the quote he provided (which was lower than every other one I received) was exactly what I paid. I 100% recommend him and I look forward to working with him for all my electrical needs. Thank you Dan!!

These guys were amazing! I found Solar Electric Pros on Craigslist and am glad I did. They did a full install of 40 panels, 2 inverters and 40 solar edge micro inverters. They showed up early every day and completed the whole job in 3 days all while making sure everything was done to perfection. Dan the owner went though and even helped me setup my online portal monitoring website with solar edge so I can see live power production, how cool is that. I have hired over 20 contractors as a home owner and can tell you with 100% confidence that Dan and his crew are extremely competent, don't take any short cuts, and are extremely trust worthy. Also the most important is they stayed on budget. I felt very comfortable leaving my house in their hands and you should to.

This is the first yelp review I've ever written, yet I've got to write one for Dan. To do research in the outdoors, I'm setting up a panel on my car, a total custom job. I've tinkered with a solar panel or two in the past, yet needed support. All I could find were big solar installers for houses, etc. Dan does this too, yet he took time out of his busy schedule to advise me and keep me from blowing something up (especially my car)! He helped me find good equipment fast without having to research, and followed through every time.

Much appreciated, Dan. This is the type of client relations that makes good business because it builds good relationships.
