Our switch turning on the ceiling fan in the dinning room broke and we called SoCal Electrical. They responded instantly and came to the house the next morning. The technician fixed the switch in less than 10 minutes. The reliability and quality of the work was excellent. He even fixed a broken chair.

I had planned a birthday bash at my house on a Friday and I initially had planned on holding it indoors. However, I went a little overboard on the invites and soon realized i wasn't going to be able to fit everyone I had invited inside. I have an outdoor space by my garage that has gone mostly unused since I'm moved into my house due to lack of lighting. I decided last minute to try and get something installed and sent out a request for bids via Yelp on Wednesday night. Steve was the first to respond and was able to do a phone consultation via Facetime on Thursday morning and gave me an estimate of $550 over the phone for materials and labor for getting the lights strung up. Steve sent me a link to the type of string lights I should buy at Costco and I went and bought the lights and waited at home for Steve's technician, Roberto, to arrive. He also gave me some advice on a Wifi smart plug to install so I could control the light with my smart phone.

Roberto arrived a little after 5pm on Thursday and I explained what I wanted to have done. I was worried because of the late start, but he got to work right away and I was surprised how much work it ended up being. There was no way I could have done this myself. He was still at it at 9pm so I went outside and helped out for the last bit hanging the lights so I could get this poor man home. All in all, I ended up paying $850 for 250ft of string lights installed (5 x 50ft strings). It ended up being more than the initial estimate, but I felt the price was fair given it was as last minute install and Roberto stayed until 10pm to make sure the job was completed in time for my party.

The party was epic and I got a lot compliments on the lighting. Thank you Steve for coming through in a pinch!

The owner came to my house as a courtesy to make sure my family was safe- my contractor had an emergency and wasn't able to be reached so I called this company to see if they can check if everything was safe with wires hanging out and to check the electric panel. Steve came after a visit w his client and help to assess the area! Will use him as my go to electrician from now on.

I had an issue with the outlet for my microwave. Sometimes it worked, sometimes not. Steven figured out that it was actually the breaker and not the outlet and was able to fix it same day.
