In the home audio sector, numerous unlicensed contractors boast impressive websites. It's a common misconception that we are all the same, merely with different pricing. This is far from the truth. Quality labor is costly, as is maintaining a legitimate business. Our success isn't due to ""unbeatable"" or ""rock-bottom"" prices. We succeed because we fulfill our commitments and are highly skilled at our work. We have a strong base of returning clients who appreciate our work and recommend us to others.

We had So Cal home theatre install a tv a year ago. So we knew who to call when we wanted to upgrade our home theatre. Adam came out and gave us a very reasonable bid and made a couple of suggestions that we never thought about and it made all of the difference. Now our home theatre experience is more than we could ever imagine . Adam is a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend that you call and So Cal home theatre

Great service that So Cal provided from start to finish. Everything was done the same day as promised and then took their time to explain once done about the remote and how everything was setup.
I will definitely use them again for future work in my home.

AWESOME....hands down SoCal Home Theatre crushed the installation of my 55"" inch Samsung TV. My wife and I just bought a new house and wanted to ditch the tv stand and cords for a sleek look that saved space. These guys show up on time and walk you through the whole process. They kept the floors clean with a blanket and vacuumed and wiped the TV down before they left. They even mounted the router and modem behind the TV (I asked for this) at no additional cost. For less than $400 I could not ask for more. Great job. I will definitely be using them again in the future.

I really appreciate when a small business runs itself like your business is important. I had called a few different home theater operations before I called Adam, and I immediately chose to work with So Cal because 1. Adam answered all my questions over the phone in an unhurried manner; 2. He answered or texted or had his team call me back within the hour whenever I had questions; 3. Adam just seems like a really nice guy. I never felt like he was trying to get me to spend more money, or do anything unnecessary with the set up.

So glad I came across So Cal Home Theater on Yelp! Adam made himself available to meet my parents right away to give a quote for a last minute tv installation. He gave them a few reasonably priced options and was incredibly professional. My parents are very satisfied with his work and we will be recommending him to everyone!

These guys are awesome! This review is a little overdue but we are very happy with their work. We had a TV moved and mounted to a different wall in our family room so they had to move all the connections too and add power. Can't even tell that the TV was once on a different wall and the new cuts in the new wall are very clean and hidden by the TV and cabinet holding our new equipment. We also had 5 speakers put in the family room that had no pre-wiring. I thought it was going to be a big project/expense but not for these guys. I'm sitting hear listening to my speakers boom through the house thinking my neighbors are going to complain at any moment. I went off of their recommendations for speakers btw because I could not find any information online even with model numbers. Our system included a receiver with a universal remote so everything can be run thru it. Directv, Pandora, Netflix, apple TV, DVD, etc. I love it! I am able to watch video's taken on my phone on my TV!
We also had a TV mounted in our outdoor room that was not prewired and speakers put in that were already prewired outside. Again I thought this was going to be a big project/expense but not for these guys. They were able to run power easily and hide the plug and I upgraded my equipment to get a wireless cable box (thru Directv) and that is hidden as well behind the TV. Everything is very clean and looks like it is supposed to be like that.
I would highly recommend them and use them again! Thanks for the great system guys!

I recently moved into a house that is not ideal for surround and very not ideal for in-wall speakers. I needed So Cal to supply five new in-wall speakers and replace my projection screen (wall mounted, motor driven) then install it all as well as the projector and a sub-woofer placed far from the other electronics. . They said they could do it in a day. I had my doubts. They did it even including drywall patching and matching the paint color of the walls. I spent more time tuning and adjusting the system to my preferences than they spent cutting, pulling cables and patching and painting. Professional, excellent service and I feel I got my money's worth.
PS to Cole B the guy with the one start review. Combining speaker wires is quite normal. The connection from my mono amp to my sub-woofer consists of five wires bound and soldered to act as one. That was required by John Moravskis, the man who built that sub-woofer as the only way to make a proper connection for low frequency handling.

I would definitely not use these guys again. I recently had them do a surround sound system and run some cat 5 wire in a house that was being built and before the drywall went in.
For the speaker wire I asked if they would install 12 or 14 gauge wire. Well they did install some 14 gauge wire on the short runs, but they ran super thin 18 gauge wire to 4 of the speakers with the longest run. When i called to inquire about this they just said,""oh we doubled up the 18 gauge wire so it's ok."" Well they ran 2 separate 18 gauge wires in their own separate sleeves and wanted me to connect two of those separate wires to each of the positive and negative receiver and speaker terminals. I thought this sounded kind of hokey, so after talking to other audio experts they could not believe that any professional company/person would do it this way and that it would definitely compromise the sound. I gave So Cal Home Theater plenty of notice that I wanted this change (at least a week) so they had time to get the proper material but its as if they just didn't buy enough wire and decided to run cheaper thinner wire to the long runs. But you can be sure that they upcharged me for the thicker wire.
I also asked them if they could run cat 6 wire instead of cat 5 wire to all the internet connections. Well the guy said that cat 5 is fine and I reluctantly agreed. Later on I heard from other audio experts that they have not run cat 5 in years and that the cost of cat 6 is almost negligible but the quality is superior. Keep in mind that the house is in framing and once this is installed and the drywall goes in it cannot be changed, but still it didn't seem like these guys even cared.
So in the end I'm not sure if So Cal Home Theater just didn't know these details, or they just dont care about the quality of their work, or maybe both. But I would definitely not recommend them.

We are very happy with the professional, quick, honest and reasonably priced experience that the staff at So Cal Home Theater gave us. Everything was very smooth, from the initial quote to the install. This was a very pleasant experience and now we can actually hear our movies. Thanks so much guys!!!!!!

If you want a theatre in your home - this is the ONLY call you need to make. From my first call to the day they left our house and said goodbye, these folks made this a purely joyful process. Even today I can call them with follow-up questions. I could write 10,000 words about So Cal Home Theatre. Let me write a few: Spectacular. Experts. Affordable. Trustworthy. Reliable. Congruent.
Make just one call. To these guys!
