We love SoCal Home Theater! Back in 2013 they installed an entire new home theater system for us with speakers, receiver, blu-ray player and TV that uses either cable or internet. Also a universal remote that runs it all seamlessly. They ran all the wiring neatly inside the walls from our home office.
We love it and couldn't be more pleased with their work. Since then anytime we've had a problem or question, Adam has been right there for us.
This week we had Adam out to install zone 2 speakers in our backyard and to upgrade a few things. Once again, SoCal Home Theater saved us from the time and pain of doing it ourselves.

Some neighbors recommended SoCal Home Theater, so was looking forward to using them. Unfortunately their office and scheduling process is kind of chaotic, and after countless phone calls and texts, they were not able to show up when promised on two occasions. I assume business is good, but if this is how you handle new clients, not sure it will last long term.

Appreciate the reply from owner...but the reason we were texting for scheduling was at their suggestion, now I'm getting told that's not how they do it. Let's please keep it honest here guys, thanks and good luck.

Adam did a great job of quickly diagnosing our sound system, rerouting cables, finding and replacing a bad one, downloading updates for both the Yamaha amp and Samsung Smart TV. He soon had the whole system operating smoothly - better than ever! He is also polite, courteous and obviously possesses a high degree of integrity. I recommend him without reservation.

""So Cal Home Theater"" installed our new in home theatre system earlier this year. It was a seamless and fun experience for us! The staff is very knowledgable, works quickly, and is obviously enthusiastic about providing a quality entertainment experience.

I don't know much about technology, so they helped guide me to the best television and sound system for our space by making a number of suggestions for us to pick from, falling at various price points.

Reasonable fee and flexible scheduling!

Will use again, and highly recommend!

I had these guys do a couple projects for me. Initially they were good, then most recently their office has been extremely non-responsive and difficult to deal with. The items they suggested I purchase were discontinued, and I think they wanted me to purchase their items retail to unload product.

They gave an estimate for very basic work, then never showed up!!!! I followed up with a call and email, and they didn't respond until the day after they are supposed to show up and I take time off work. Their response is ""We apologize we didn't finalize your estimate."" Total BS, given that I emailed several times and they just don't respond.

Apparently their business is doing real good, so they are too busy to respond and communicate. You can't even get the person on the phone who is supposed to do the installing, and who can answer the questions. All in all, they are pretty unprofessional, and difficult to deal with - not customer service oriented at all. I would not trust them to do work in my home or cut into my walls, etc. This isn't rocket science, and customer service is a pretty basic element of doing business. Bottom line, they've lost my trust and I will never do business with them again, and I would NEVER recommend them to anyone if they can't handle the basics of coordinating the hanging of a TV on the wall, a couple speakers and some internet. WOW. Zero stars to service, and negative 5 stars for communication.
