Founded in 2005, Snappy Services began its journey. For many years, we were under the ownership of an out-of-state company that influenced our pricing and operations. While their support kept us technologically updated, the distance created a disconnect with our local community and clients.

Recently, I, Adam Bunyard, the current general manager and one of the original employees since 2005, acquired the company with my wife. Although we had a solid team and structure, we saw the importance of enhancing our local presence and adjusting our pricing. Our existing warranties and customer base should notice better service moving forward, as we will honor all warranties during this change.

Since we became part of Yelp in July 2017, we are eager to earn your business and trust.

Let's start with the good... called 3 plumbing services, they were the only ones that answered promptly and had a tech out to our site in 45 minutes. Here is the bad... ridiculously expensive. Got a second opinion, the diagnosis was the same, and the price was one third what Snappy quoted.

Where do I start. I just bought a home in the Dunwoody area and needed a technician to visit my home and determine why my hot water heater wasn't running correctly as well as resolve the issue promptly. Although we hadn't heard of Snappy as a home services company, my wife and I decided to give them a try so we scheduled an appointment. To my astonishment, the technician (Jon C) showed up within hours. He was patient with me while I tried to work with another technician, and thoroughly reviewed and then fixed my issue in less time than expected. Not only that, he actually went above and beyond with helping with some wiring issues I was having installed. I had a leak underneath my kitchen sink. It was also making a thumping sound. So, I called Snappy Services for a plumber. I'm so glad I did because the plumber, Jon Camp, fixed it in less than five minutes. It was the faucet's sprayer causing all the fuss.

Problem solved.

Because the solution was so quick, Jon and his manager (they're based at the Marietta office) didn't charge me. I definitely appreciate this!

If you need a plumber, give these guys a call. I certainly will for future plumbing issues.

This company quoted me $1000 to replace the capacitor and freon. Then said they'd just do the freon for $550 after I negotiated that price down from $700. I got a second opinion who told me after replacing the capacitor that it was the compressor. If I'd gone with Snappy all of that money would've been wasted and stuck at the mercy of them replacing the compressor or the whole unit. Their prices were almost double the other companies. It pays to get a second or even third opinion. It's all so confusing. Just beware...

We were very disappointed at your high prices. Had a job done recently at 1/4 your price quote. So unjust! $1200 for a control panel for our furnace. We had a reputable technician come out and install for $345, with labor and parts. How can people be so unjust to consumers- and get away with it!?!?!

Do not expect them to come on the same day you are scheduled. They schedule you to hook you up and cancel for the day, reschedule and never come on time...Not reliable at all. You will need to call a different electrician eventually after you get so frustrated to reschedule with them a few times.

We asked our neighbor for a good plumber and electrician. They referred us to Snappy. They came to our 10 years old house and said that our water heater was gone and we had to change it. We did, but were puzzled by it. I have never changed a water heater so soon in a house. Still today it takes at least 3 minutes of running water to get warm water out of the faucet. Then they told us they were going to charge us $150 a year or so and they were going to check heating and air, and more every year. Time comes for checking the heating and air system. They come by and they say our furnace needs to go, it is dangerous and an hazard as some parts were rusted and gas couldn't flow right. We said we were going to wait and think. The day after we saw our neighbor using a different provider for heating and air and I just realized i needed to get a second opinion. In the meantime we changed the rusted parts, cost of $200 total by ourselves. Then I called my heating and air guy from across town. He has worked with my friends in the rental housing business for more then 20 years and he checked our furnace in other properties so i knew he was honest and knowledgeable. He looked at the furnace and said: there is nothing wrong with this furnace. It works perfectly. He then asked: did you have any issues with it? We said no, and we told him that Snappy told us that it was an hazard and it needed to be changed. He said that our furnace was better then most furnace he sees around. That was 1 year ago' and we have not yet have any issues with it.
I did notice that Snappy's employees are very pushy. Clearly they must have some commissions on selling parts or replacing items because they clearly didn't care about giving us a good service, it was all about what they could push on us. On a 10 year old house, there is not much you can push, but they sure tried. Stay away from them. They are a rip off.
