I wanted to install a home surge protector to my home so I started by doing my research to learn as much as possible. I then proceeded to obtain bids. It was disheartening how many gave a bid without providing any details. When I asked questions, I received vague answers. So different when I got Smith Electric on the phone. First I was impressed that there was a knowledgeable man, John, to speak to. He answered all my technical questions, told me the mfg they like to use for parts/supplies and gave me their website to read about this product. He then gave me the price for install which included the new breaker needed as part of proper install. By the way some of the other bidders said it wasn't really necessary to add a breaker for this job, which I knew was not correct. I had already looked up and priced out equipment and approx time to do the job. So needless to say SMITH'S ELECTRIC was right on target with their price. How refreshing to find an honest contractor that's close by. The electrician showed up on time, was neat and polite and made sure he took care of other items on my list for Electric repairs before he left. This company has the right idea. Be honest, reliable, provide quality work and you have a customer forever!
