I had these people come look at my house, they said they would come fix it, they never scheduled a date and now they are sending us a bill for 250$ even though they never came to fix the problems. that is just for them to look at the house.

Writing on behalf of an elderly Aunt who was so upset with her treatment that I received 3 calls on the subject.
My aunt is having solar put on her house. She needed a new electrical panel and some trenching done to complete the upgrade of her electrical service in preparation for the solar equipment. This contractor was unprofessional throughout. This crew left open trenches down my aunt's side year with no cones, tape, or indication after construction had ceased for the day and they managed to leave the side yard fence open after they left on 7 separate occasions. There was also a complete lack of planning and coordination. Dave Smith (the owner) promised curtesy calls so the dog could be contained and other work could be coordinated. There was only ever a single curtesy call that was placed a mere 30 mins before the crew arrived. Today, my aunt was having other unrelated work done. Smith coordinated to have a cement subcontractor to come out and fill in the pathways. There was no communication with my aunt. The subcontractor showed up and wanted to start work and my aunt stopped him because the other workers needed to enter and exit which would have ruined the wet cement. When my aunt spoke with Dave to discuss the issue he cursed at her. This is no way to conduct business.
It's good business practice to under promise and over deliver. This contractor seems to take the exact opposite approach.
My aunt asked that I write this review on her behalf with the most stern of tone to let potential customers be warned.

These guys are dedicated and committed to offering the best customer experience bar none. They first impressed me when they were contracted out by my solar company to upgrade my main panel. Their installation was very good and detailed that I hired them to upgrade my sub panel and install 240 outlets among a few other things. Once again, Smith Electric went well beyond to make sure everything was to satisfactory. Glad I went with them and I would highly recommend them 100%.

Smith Electrical did the work at my Italian ice shop and allowed us to pass our inspections with flying colors! Their employees are super polite, on time, and professional. They answer any and every question I have and always get the job done the right way and for the best price!

Electrician arrived same day I called for a service request, earlier than time window estimate, and resolved issue in 20 minutes. He rechecked some other wiring since we had some extra time, and solar system, and gave additional advice on a separate issue as well. Very knowledgable, friendly, and respectful! Kept his face mask on and maintained social distancing as I was walking him to the panels on the property. Thanks Smith Electric for your super speedy resolution of my issue!

I've used Smith Electric twice and they have done a great job both times.

The first project I had them perform was installation of a 240v outlet to charge our electric vehicle. They coordinated the proper city inspection and permit process, showed up on time, and were courteous. Price was reasonable.

Second time I had Dave come by to take a look at a minor electrical issue. It was a last minute thing but he happened to be in the area and stopped by to quickly resolve the issue.

I highly recommend Smith Electric!
