These guys do great work but the customer service is even better. I asked them to install a NEMA 14-50 outlet for my new Tesla Model X. To make a long story short, there was a mix up on the day my outlet was to be installed. I thought it was Thursday, they thought it was Friday. I took the morning off and called their office when no one showed up on Thursday. Their CEO, Dave Smith, personally dealt with my situation. He pulled someone in my area off another job to come to my house on Thursday to make up for the confusion. It's not a very common thing for a CEO to take responsibility for an individual customer's situation and, as a CEO, I really appreciate it.

As for all the other stuff, the work was perfect, the price reasonable, and the workers professional and friendly. Can't ask for much more. If you want great work and excellent customer service, Smith Electrical is for you.

Mike from SMITH came to our house to upgrade our electrical panel, contracted thru SDG&E. He was right on time, friendly, professional & he was done quickly (No power during the upgrade). Highly recommend.

Smith recently installed a Tesla charger at our house. Folks on the phone who scheduled the appointment very clear and helpful. Electricians who came to house, clean courteous and very professional.

Some issues with an existing permit as a result of administrative error on behalf county - Smith very helpful in trying to resolve those issues so they can wrap up project.

Have dealt with multiple contractors as a function of several remodels, additions, etc. clearly somebody at Smith understands customer service.

Smith Electrical just installed a NEMA 14-50 outlet for my Tesla. I called all three nearby contractors on the Tesla list, and Smith was the only one who answered my call and gave me a quote without my having to call them back, send them pictures and follow up several times. I called one contractor who was not on the Tesla list, and he quoted a low price, but did not recommend getting a permit or doing a load calculation (bad advice). When he added these services in, his price was much higher than Smith's. I strongly suggest sticking with a Tesla-recommended installer.

Joseph, who is in charge of Tesla installations, came over yesterday to collect data for the load analysis and design the installation. While they would normally have run conduit around the walls of the garage, he agreed that my suggestion to run most of the wire in the garage attic was better. They had a last-minute cancellation, so they came over this morning to do the job. Joseph and his helper were very professional and courteous. I am an Electrical Engineer, and can attest to their skill and workmanship. Well deserving of my five star review. Highly recommended.

We initially contacted Smith Electrical to install the charger for our Tesla & then added a few light fixtures and a ceiling fan as well. John & Juan were outstanding! They showed up earlier than the promised arrival time and got right to work. The completed work in the garage was very well done with great attention to detail. The rest of the work was done with the same level of detail and care. They even came with their own brush & dustpan to clean up after themselves! Extremely professional and respectful throughout - we would definitely recommend to others!

Smith Electric came out to do first an inspection of load calcs for a new Tesla and NEMA 14-50 adapter, and Dave was super communicative and very friendly. Even said hi to my 3-year old daughter when he came in the house to check some of the appliances. Great first impression!

A couple of days later, another person came back to install the plug in the garage, and it literally took about 30 minutes. He was in and out in a jiffy, and of course, it worked! Super thankful for this service and quick turnaround time, since the Tesla came in a little earlier than expected.

Smith electrical came out to our house in Lakeside last week to upgrade our electrical panel in preparation for our transition to solar. We are beyond pleased with the job that Mike did. Had a 240 outlet put in today for the Tesla I just bought. The service with Smith was great. They worked around my delivery schedule and Joseph and Juan just installed the outlet. Joseph and Juan were very personable, explained everything well, and the outlet installation went well. I would highly recommend them.

I had a tesla wall mount installed through Smith Electrical and everything went smoothly until the wall mount stopped working. I contacted them again and they quickly came to my rescue to test the unit to find out that it was the tesla unit itself had gone bad. Renee ( I think this is how you spell his name) stayed past his allotted time to install a new charger which I was extremely thankful for! Talk about above and beyond! This kind of service is why I would recommend them to the next person! Also the receptionist Sarah who was awesome, she made sure she found an electrician close by who could help me ASAP!
