Someone once told me that a good electrician is hard to find. Finding a great electrician is like finding a unicorn! Smilys Electric is your unicorn! We are getting an EV soon and needed a dedicated 240v NEMA 14-50 outlet installed. During his initial visit, he advised that we would probably benefit from also upgrading our electrical panel from 100 amp to 200 amp. We had actually been thinking about doing this as well, since we knew our electrical needs would increase and we are considering going solar. 100 amp wasn't going to be enough and could ultimately be dangerous. Ismael gave us a quote for both and the pricing was extremely fair. What we got in return was pretty epic. Not only was the job done in a timely manner, but the panel and outlet look like they naturally came with the house. Extremely clean work! Even better, he dealt with the County of LA to get us the proper permits and took every precaution to do the job in a top notch manner. Ishmael came in less than an hour when I was getting appt times from other electricians for 5 days out. He was courteous and a HARD worker. Circuit overloaded and popped in my kitchen and he spent 2 hrs taking plug panels off, tracking cables, until he finally found the culprit and fixed it. What a relief. He's a terrific electrician who knows his business. Recommended.

Ismael was great at communicating with me to find a time that could work in our schedule. Turns out we were located farther than his yelp radius, so he helped me troubleshoot and diagnose the issue and gave me a reasonable price to replace what we determined was a bad breaker for later in the week. Since I have done some electrical I decided to give it a shot myself and asked him questions on which new circuit breaker I was buying would replace the outdated one. After confirming the part would work we discussed if I ran into any trouble or the breaker didn't resolve the issue he could make a trip out to diagnose. Turns out replacing the breaker did the trick and grateful for an experienced electricians feedback!

Ismael responded quickly to my asking for quotes from electricians in installing a new outlet for my microwave. He was the only one that offered to Facetime me to see what the problem was instead of just asking for more info. He came out promptly & got my problem solved before Thanksgiving! He ended up fixing all the other outlets in the kitchen that were bad & I had him install lights in my bathroom. He was very reasonable & cleaned everything up. Will definitely have him back again!

He didn't even had to come out for simple issue. He looked at the breaker by facetime and figured out the issue.
I had trouble contacting local Electricians on my area and they were fully booked but it was an urgent matter since the house had no power at all. If you had the same issue as I did with the main breaker malfunctioning., this is the place you would need to call. Very responsive and got everything figured out less than 5 minutes.
