Fast, prompt, and a good price. Needed electrical outlets moved in a new commercial spot and a light switch installed along with adding a neutral wire.

They don't quote over the phone but come out and give a free estimate. They promptly came out and gave me a good estimate. I hired them for the job. The following day they came and knocked it out in under four hours. They cleaned up well and left no remains.

They returned the following day to pick up a check. I wanted a switch changed out which they did complimentary (very nice of them)

This company is all about customer service and getting the job done right. Price was market and pretty competitive. Will keep them in my Rolodex forever. Very satisfied with their work!

I've been using Smart Choice (Atlai) for electrical work on my primary residence and my rental properties for 4 or 5 years. If I had to guess, I would say he's done about 20 or more jobs for me. I can't say enough good things about his service. He is reliable, fair-priced and always guarantees his work. He's very quick to swing by and give me a quote and it's never a bait and switch. Always reasonable, always fair. And, on top of the great service, he's a very nice guy. Strongly recommended.

I requested a quote and got a response within 2 hours. First one back. Cool. Never did get the service charge amount, so I replied requesting that and a service time.
Waited 3 hours and finally called Ruben's cell. He got me confused with another customer and said I didn't have enough info for a quote. Finally was able to remind him what I needed and set up a service call the next morning at 8 am. But he was a no-show as of 8:45am. So when I called, he said he was in traffic. I said thanks, but no. If he doesn't respect my time, I'll give it to someone more professional.

2 weeks ago my husband and I were looking to replace our gas oven with an electric one which required a 220 volt line to be installed. After contacting a few companies via yelp Ruben had the best quote and communication! After we scheduled a day for him to do the work everything went smoothly. He sent one of his associates to do the install and he even installed a new security light for us while he was there! We are very happy with the service Smart Choice Electric provided and Ruben and his associate were very professional. We will use them again in the future!

Needed 30 recessed can lights LED added to our remodeled home. A friend recommended Rueben, who came out the day I called for a quote. Very reasonable prices compared to other quotes. Within a week, his team of 4 came out and installed all 30 lights in one day. The team was professional, polite, and set out tarps/plastic over furniture and floors to protect the furniture. Once complete, they cleaned up everything. I would certainly recommend Rueben at Atlai to anyone!

First, I have to give kudos to the guy for answering the phone at 6:45 in the morning; However, he sounded drunk. I would have chalked it up to him being tired, but after 20 minutes of speaking to him he obviously wasn't waking up so.... a little lit IMO.

I had a very simple problem regarding GFCI outlets. He could not or would not give me a quote on the price of replacing them if all other matters were ideal.

Good morning Jeff, we don't understand this kind of reviews, base in what happened in the conversation, you seems to be upset for the reason we didn't give you a price over the phone. Because our policies we do NOT give price over the phone, because doing it so could create some problems.
The companies that give prices over the phone their are not responsable for doing it so.
We requested you, we can go to your property at no charge and you did not want it, we have an schedule to work with, we have to work the time a the best convenience for both of us, but you got mad because we could not sent someone right after you call.
Our policy is first come first serve.
Base in all this we politely request you to remove this review, which on it, you also are assuming situations that are not true.

Based on the fact you could not finish a coherent sentence without being asked to complete it, or repeat it, I stand by my critique. I would be derelict if I did not convey my experience with you to other potential users in regard to trying to get a simple matter resolved. Your odd behavior on the phone did not illicit confidence in gaining my trust in your ability to perform electrical work in my home. People who read this review can make their own decision whether to engage your services. Even if other users have expressed exceptional satisfaction with their experience with your business I will not be using you. As for the time you could come out, I realize a major storm has come through and there are people in need of electrical work more important than mine, so not being able to come out immediately was not an issue. I should remove a star for your request to censor.
