Man R.We bought a huge window AC (25000btu one) to keep cool this summer. But it needs a dedicated 220v 20amp outlet, and we didn't have one set up. Our circuit panel is full and I can do some electrical stuff, but changing circuit panels is above my skill set. I called 5 different electricians/handymen numbers from online sources, yelp included.
There were only two that called back in a day, and of them, these guys were able to set up a next-day visit.

Next morning I got a call 30mins before they were going to show up, cool.
Now when the guy got here, I walked him through my circuit panel, the outlet we want to use, and our basement where all the wires are to change. He quoted me 295 to convert the outlet to 220v 20amp, as well as make it a dedicated circuit on an already full circuit panel.
He called his buddy waiting in the car and they got the job done! Outlet was converted, dedicated circuit was created, the work was all tested, and everything put back and cleaned up. Even the electric plates I had left open before they showed up.
Thanks and way to go, guys! I'd definitely go with smart choice next time I need electrical work done. Joe and Jose were both friendly and courteous, and totally pro!
