We had them out to fix a light fixture in our kitchen. They did an excellent job, and stuck to the price they first quote, even though it turned out to be more work than they expected. We will definitely be using them again.

Will not take work for any rental property!!!! Whaaaaat? After taking all my information including email address and phone numbers, THEN they tell me the won't work on rental property.

These guys were the real deal. We had a shady electrician who half way did a few jobs around our house & then never came back to finish. These guys on the other hand were Super professional, nice, & they worked until all the jobs were done. They literally stayed at our house until after 10pm(with our permission of course) to make sure they finished the job. They installed 3 pendant lights, our under cabinet lighting, fixed a few outlets & added an outlet to our back porch. Make sure to ask for Louis & Andrew. They are the best!

We have now had Small Jobs Electric out twice to fix various electrical issues with a home we just purchased a couple of months ago. The young man who came out to our home was named Tre Marshall. He did such an awesome job the first time he came out that we specifically requested him the next time we needed them. He installed a surge protected outlet in our media room, repaired several outlets on the exterior of the house, and completely repaired our landscape lighting in the front of the house.
Tre Marshall is one of the most professional, courteous, and competent individuals I have dealt with since I have been making repairs on my new home. These are traits that, unfortunately, are hard to come by these days. So, my hat's off to Tre and the team at Small Jobs Electric.
I will not call anyone but Small Jobs Electric from now on for ALL of my electrical needs. These guys are the BEST!

Owner came to fix dock lights. Excellent job and very fair price. Will use for all future needs!

Jaz Menendez and his helper did an excellent job installing three ceiling outlets with wall switches. They fished wires, installed the outlets and switches, and did it all in less than three hours. No drywall damage at all. Looks like they came original with the house. They even included wiring for fans with light kits should we chose to add at a later date. Great work at a great price.

In my opinion, what sets companies apart is their focus on the customer and quality customer service. Few companies have blue sky offering a product or service that is unique without a lot of competition. Today I had a service call with Small Jobs Electric. My initial conversation was very nice. Shortly thereafter, they called asking if they can move up the appointment to 20 min from the conversation, which I agreed to. After 40 min, I called back because they were 20 min late to the recently given expected arrival time. This time, I was told he would arrive in less than 10 min. 30 min later I call back and was given excuses. Once he arrived, the work was completed quickly (less than 20 min). Price seemed high given the work I needed done. However, I do not have anything to compare it to. In conclusion, texting/calling is pretty simple and expected these days. It should not take more than an hour when told 20 min. When I have a need for an electrician again, I will give another company a try. It is important to note companies should view small jobs as important ones. Building a positive relationship with the customer can lead to larger jobs down the line as.

On 06/07/16 I telephoned Small Jobs Electric. I requested an estimate to have a motion sensor installed on the exterior of my garage. The receptionist informed me a electrician would be at my residence on 06/08/16 between 1100 and 1300 hours. I waited the entire day. No one came to my residence and no one contacted me. The is my last time contacting them. Very poor customer service. Stay away from this company. If their work is anything like their customer service is probably is faulty and substandard.

I've already given Small Jobs a very favorable rating on Angie's List the first time(s) we used them. We bought a foreclosure that was so riddled with 'home job' wiring the technician who came (pre-sale) to give an estimate for the many electrical 'needs' specified in our inspection report couldn't turn the air-conditioning circuit back on for fear the arcing he saw in the circuit board would burn the house down before we could close escrow! We had Small Jobs install a new electric panel, and completely rewire our kitchen when we did a (Home Depot) remodel over the course of several months. We were so impressed with Jaz and the several other electricians' attention to detail & professionalism. THIS review is, however, for what I'll call the 'above and beyond'.
An oven that was brand new when we bought the house stopped working and the service manual said that the code registering on its display (F9) meant there was a problem w/ either the fuse or the electrical plug. As these had both been done a year and a half earlier by Small Jobs I called them out at the same time I scheduled to have Whirlpool come (a day later). I was quoted $39 for the 'trip' and 'diagnosis' which, compared to Whirlpool's $100 'diagnosis' was a worthwhile gamble for us in getting the best 'fix'. Jaz was the one to show up and he quickly diagnosed that it was neither the electrical panel nor the electrical wiring. While the oven started working again by simply being unplugged & re-plugged in, Jaz wasn't happy until he'd tested both broiler and surface units concurrently AND the electrical 'pigtail's ability. When I asked whether i could pay cash for the service call it was music to my (jaded homeowner's) ears to have Jaz say that there was no charge for the call since Small Jobs stands by their work so that in essence, this plug they'd rewired was 'warranted' NOT to be 'the problem'. He went on to council that in his years in the business this wouldn't be the end of our stove 'problems' and he was right. Two days later the stove 'went out' again (AFTER I'd cancelled the Whirlpool service call, natch). We've been able to re-plug it in to working order once again but just knowing that this oven is a relatively unsound unit, we trust what Jaz said enough to replace it if it continues to 'act up' rather than pay big bucks to Whirlpool to coddle it along.
Long story short, HIRE THESE FOLKS! They're not inexpensive, but their work is not only good, it is even better in that it seems to be 'guaranteed'. What a pleasure in America's 'too bad/ s*** happens' so-called service economy!

Customer service rep. Called me before electrician was scheduled to arrive and called back saying he was in heavy traffic (that's customer service) Ryan the Electrican was very professional. Same day service too. I will be using again for sure.
