Called when lightning knocked out 2 outlets. They were out the next day! called 30 min. prior to arrival and got a text with a pic of the tech! So far so good. Tech (Charles-Jay) arrived on time and quickly resolved the issue! Inspected the breaker box, made some lightning strike prevention suggestions (with no crazy sales tactics or pressure) and was on his way. Thanks to their new customer no service call fee - it was the best experience I have had with any service profession! I only wish they did plumbing services as well! Great Company - great service - great prices! 10 Stars!!!!

We had someone come out to instal a fixture. It turns out we had some electrical issues that really needed to be dealt with. Thank you Luis P-L,, who is knowledgable and personable. Thank you for explaining the process, and problems. Safety is always first.

I've used SJE many times over the years and I have never had an issue; however, today's visit has me considering calling someone else next time.

I removed two smart switches from the master bath with the intent of replacing the not-so-smart dimmer with a standard one, and while I was at it, I'd replace another smart switch with a standard one. And even though I installed these myself years ago, the rat's next of wire in the switch box had me confused -- hence my call to SJE.

The work was done (and a discount applied due to the fact that the job wasn't as big as was estimated and I appreciated it), but... I didn't like that the electrical panel had to be inspected (possible fire hazard?), and things were pointed out that concerned the technician and should be corrected. Reminded me of going to the car repair shop and the techs finding every little thing wrong that actually weren't. No, I'm not replacing the breaker panel. Yes, there was some overspray of paint on the contacts of one or two breakers, probably when the house was built. Those breakers and circuits (I assume) were inspected when the house was built and the breaker panel passed inspection. I was told by the tech that the company now requires that the breaker panel be inspected and a soft-sell for a whole-house surge protector be given. True? Dunno. I'll replace it at a later date. Maybe.

I don't know. I got a different vibe this time. It wasn't that the tech was unfriendly of anything -- I just didn't like being reminded of when I took my car to a name-brand car care center for service.

BTW, I recommended SJE to a neighbor recently, and she found the tech to be condescending (because she was a woman?). I don't know the name of the tech that came to do her work. I've always dealt with the techs myself, and I do have some electrical and electronic experience, so I never encountered anything condescendent from a tech. But...

I had a small electric job to be done so I called Small Jobs Electric! The appointment was at up easily and Adam called me in advance and arrived on time.

Adam fixed our ancient fluorescent light fixture by converting it to LED and fixed the broken switch as well. He was on time, fast, professional and communicated the plan and cost up front. Thanks Adam!

Life is good with a light and switch that now work!

I absolutely recommend Small Jobs Electric. The old florescent light in my bathroom went out and I needed it replaced. I received a very prompt appointment and the technician explained why florescent lighting was on it's way out. He replaced the old lights with new, far better lights. I've been having problems lately finding service people who will answer their phone and actually make and keep an appointment. Small Jobs Electric answered and gave me an appointment for the same day. The tech's name was Jeff and he was very prompt and helpful. Great company. I'll use them again.

What a horrible company! They labeled the circuit breaker wrong. When he called me back to review the situation he blamed my handyman (who received a shock) for not being an electrician. He didn't ask any questions just gave excuses. Now I don't trust the work done.
The feeling I'm left with??? Tough old lady we got our $$$$

Nathaniel and his team work with discipline, professionalism and pride in the work they're doing. After he team installed an extremely difficult and heavy (160 Lb) Chandelier in my dinning room area, Nathaniel wasn't happy with the result, so he decided to bring it it down and reworked the position of the crystals until it was perfect. I must also add that the service elevator was out of commission. Nathaniel and his team claimed 28 flights of stairs -with heavy equipment including 3 ladders. It's difficult to find this day an age a professional team of such high caliber. I enthusiastically recommend Small Jobs Electric.
