It is not easy to schedule with this company!

The give you a 2hr window and require the homeowner to be present. Even for a quote on something outside the building. They are not at all flexible with this. We own and/or manage over 1000 rental units. Your loss.

I sat and waited for 2 hours and no one showed up for the appointment.

I understand what may work best for your business but it does not work for me as a customer. You earned this 1 star today !!

Update. They called me at 3:10 letting me know the electrician was there. I left at 3 as our appointment was between 1-3.

The young lady was very rude and wanted to argue with me about MY experience! She interrupted every sentence I tried to speak.

So now I'll continue my complaint efforts with the BBB!

As you can see from their other responses to low reviews. They DO NOT Value the customer or their opinion!!!

This company was great to work with and got the job done. I had a really strange problem (un-traceable electric circuit which was dead) and called the original home builder for our 20 year old home; they put me in touch with the original electrical contracting firm who told me they only do ""warranty"" work for consumers. That electrician gave me a couple of other names but neither of those firms even bothered to return my calls.

Small Jobs Electric has several in-house employees to answer calls (no voice mail) immediately, set-up an appointment and advise on the basic pricing ($29 to $49 to come out and quote the job; varies based on type of work). It was a Tuesday and the earliest appointment was the following Monday at 9am; I asked if they could put me a wait-list in case of a cancellation. They called me both Wednesday and Thursday with short-notice openings; unfortunately, I couldn't take advantage. On Friday they called and told me they had an opening at 1:30 in afternoon which worked for me. The tech (Tre) arrived right on time. He looked over my job and quoted me from a pre-printed estimate sheet (based on the type of work and age of my home). However, he found the problem in just a few minutes and offered a discount from the original quote. I was delighted. A very fair price for the job and the electrician was very professional. I will gladly use them again.

We searched around for an electric company to come out to install a chandelier as well as to change out some light fixtures. We are so glad we found Small Jobs Electric. They were very professional. Called us for our Appt. reminder and when they were on their way as well.

I've had some bad luck with contractors so I was a little skeptical of these folks. They sent a technician by the name of Ryan F. out to our house and he sat down and went through each little project we needed completed. He wrote down their price and explained how he arrived at the amount. We had a bunch of things we needed done, so he got started on a few of them right away and finished up without incident. I liked that he tested things out before moving on ... and he showed us his completed work and checked to see if we had questions.

The next day we had Ryan and his assistant back to do some of the larger scale projects (new outlets outside, attic wiring, whole house surge protector, etc.). They worked most of the day through the heat and did a great job. Everything is just how we want it.

The ONLY hiccup was that they didn't wear booties so our carpet got a little dirty, but we just waited til it dried and vacuumed it up. No biggie. Literally that's our only minor complaint.

If you have an electrical job, call these guys. They are super professional ... oh and the office is great too. They answered on the 2nd ring, confirmed appointments beforehand, and had the techs call us to say they were on the way.

We've already recommended them to our friends and neighbors.

Oh, on top of everything, Ryan was very sweet to our little dog. :)

We had them out after we experienced some electrical issues due to a lightning strike. We agreed to the up front charge of $213, but then the technician refused to check all of the outlets in the house because he didn't feel in his professional opinion that it was necessary. We felt it was necessary to check all outlets for damage but after insisting they complete the job, the technician still refused. Won't be using them again.

Great experience! We are so happy we found this company! We were immediately put at ease when they showed up when they said they would, were nice and clean, courteous and so professional! They explained exactly what needed to be done, worked very efficiently and cleaned up after themselves. In the end, they charged us exactly as quoted even though they did more than we initially discussed. We would definitely use them again.

It says 24/7, but in order to get them out any sooner that two weeks away they want an extra hundred bucks!

Well let me start by saying I had the company recommended to me. I needed to get some work done on lights and in my main panel. The reason for the review is due to a call to change my appointment I had scheduled. I travel for work and set this time due to my work and travel schedule. This has put me in dire need to change companies.

All that said I did get a call to clarify my schedule. The team did come out to do the work and were very professional about it. Showed me the issues they found and were reasonably priced.

I was mad when I wrote the one star review. I would say that now they deserve the rating posted.

I will use them again.

Used Small Jobs Electric to install several ceiling fans and everything was fine so I thought we would use them again to install an outside outlet for a powered awning. The installers were prompt and on time. The installation was quick and they cleaned up after themselves. I said to myself, I had better check that out let to ensue there was power to it, but never did. We paid our $411 and went about our business. Today the awning company came to install the awning and when they plugged in the motor the breaker popped. I called SJE to inform them of the situation and have someone fix their error. I was told today that no one will be in the office until 7-16. Today is the 11th. Are you kidding me? Your installer messed up this installation an I have to wait to have you fix it. Unacceptable.... Never again!!!!
