First time having Jeff do electrical work in our home. He fit me in 2 days after texting him. Unfortunately i was short on time during his first visit. He couldn't locate the problem in the short amount of time i had, esp without me opening up some parts of the walls. So, I said, I'll open up some parts and send you pics. I did that and sent him pics and info over the weekend and he so kindly got back to me very promptly. He was very attentive to the job even though he was not here. He fit me in the very next workday and with a few more wall openings he found the source of the wiring issue and fixed it. I have to say, Jeff's attention to my issue whether over text or in person, made it feel like i was his only customer.Not only was he proficient in his craft but he enjoyed talking about it and teaching a few things as well. I really do not have an opinion on whether SLMS rates are fair or not. They are definitely reasonable. He put my mind at ease with what could've been a very serious electrical hazard in our home and to my family, so i wasn't overly concerned about cost for this job. I would definitely recommend Jeff and SLMS!!

My home insurance company sent SLMS electrical to repair an electrical problem. Jeff told me he could not complete the repairs until I had 3 walls opened to give him access to all the wiring for the 3 walls. I hired someone to open the access area he required and sent Jeff pictures to confirm the access was sufficient for him to complete the work. He said he would not come back because he no longer worked for the insurance company. The 2nd electrical company came and completed the repairs, indicating the walls did not need to be opened at all. The new company indicated any competent electrician could have determined the source of the problem with basic testing and made the repairs without opening the walls. I now have 3 walls with 2 feet wide access along the whole wall as requested by Jeff of SLMS electrical and it was not necessary at all. This is to share my experience with SLMS.

Jeff has been our go-to guy since he came out on a Fidelity home warranty service call two years ago. Since then he has replaced and upgraded our electrical panel, added outlets, fixed outlets, installed dome lights, ceiling fans, replaced and upgraded our can recessed led lights, and installed a chandelier. I'm very happy with this service. SLMS was selected by my home warranty company (Fidelity Home Warranty). Jeff and Darren came out early on the same day. They are very friendly, professional and got the job done right away. I had a partially melted circuit breaker panel, so more than half of my home was without power. They explained many aspects of how things work, answered all my questions with patience, and kept me informed during the repair. They saved me from missing work and handled the issue so efficiently that I didn't lose any food either, (my refrigerator had no power before the repair). I even had an additional question after they left and Jeff picked up the phone directly, which is great. I saved their info in my phone as my new go to electricians.
