John and his guys ROCK! PG&E stinks with their power shut down - Slama electric installed a whole house generator for us super quick and super professionally - fair price, excellent service - if you have a need, you need to go with Slama!

Not even worth one star. You have to at least show up first! I hired John Slama about 3 years ago. He installed one box/light in my ceiling. Okay work as it wasn't difficult.

I called John a year later. He asked me to text some dates for another visit. He ignored all my texts and never responded.

I really didn't want to give him another opportunity, but he was an easy call and in my neighborhood. John said he would arrive Friday at 4:30 to see and quote the job. At 4:30 I called him to confirm and he said he would be there after 4:45. At 5pm, I called him and texted several times until 6:30 pm to NO RESPONSE. Texted later that night to see what happened, NO RESPONSE.

John had every opportunity to inform me he wasn't interested or could not make it to our scheduled appt. This was quoted by another electrician as a $4 Thou job. It was worth the work and it goes to one other very responsive and genuine electrician!

Gotta love how one guy as such, gives contractors a bad rap!
Will not ever refer him or use him again. He definitely has an attitude.


DON'T bother responding John. No excuses. There is simply no integrity left.
