We recently worked with Sam and his team to install recessed Lightings in apartment. Sam was really quick to answer our questions. He gave us great feedback when discussing the scope of work, and he provided a reasonable quote. He was extremely accommodating to deal with HOA rules, help us with the permit request, and to be sure that we pass city inspections. Sam and his team are extremely professional. We love our lights and we will be happy to work again with them. After visiting our apartment, our neighbors recently hired Sam and his team for a similar upgrade to their apartment.

A few weeks ago, I hired someone on Yelp to fix my circuit breaker box. Yesterday night, the power started to partially go out and the circuit breaker box started sparking and sizzling. This electrician didn't reply to my text or phone call. In need of immediate help, I made several calls based on Yelp reviews. Samuel called me back right away and had his colleague Josue come ASAP to assess the situation. After further inspection, he noticed that a few connections were loose. He tightened some bolts and tested the box. He was here less than 20 minutes and left with my problem easily solved. Fast, professional and reasonable - I highly recommend SL Electric.

One of the recessed lights in my office stopped working. Sam came out and determined the issue was the bulb. I live near one of his suppliers and he went and purchased the correct bulb and installed it. He then helped mov the other recessed lights to improve the lighting on my desk. I finally feel like I have a functioning desk! He showed me how to work the reset button and clearly explained the problem. He was timely, professional, and contentious. I would happily hire him again.

I just bought a condo and I had a lot of electrical upgrades I wanted to do (Tesla Wall Connector, sub panel replacement, additional outlets, additional lighting). Samuel was able to understand my vision and quickly got back to me with an estimate over Yelp. Sam is really responsive to message over Yelp and text messages and was a breeze to work with. Sam and his team did a great job running all the new rough electrical work over 4-5 days, another ~2 days of finishing work, and another ~2 days of inspections over 7 weeks. Sam is a great communicator asking me questions as work is done, provided great knowledge on best placement of the new lights and provided important knowledge to make sure we're up to code. Sam attended all the electrical inspections with the City of San Francisco and provided the electrical load calculations of our residence to satisfy the city's requirements to pass the inspections. Samuel did an excellent job for my house and I hope to hire SL Electric again for my future projects.

Samuel and team are fantastic. Great workmanship, great communication, super fair pricing, and an X factor that you won't find elsewhere, which is Samuel is just a great collaborator/brainstormer/project planner. I had this really messy, complicated situation with an old house renovation in SF that had been partially finished in the 1940s-1960s. Instead of removing the original, incomplete work, we decided to finish it, but that created a lot of complication with installing full modern electric up to code (outlets plus light fixtures) in 2 rooms in this tight basement space, around structural beams, through walls and ceilings constructed with various materials over the years, removing old cloth wiring, etc. As a result, we couldn't find any electrician to take it on in 18 months of looking until we lucked out and found Samuel, and then it was completed in 2 days! With perfect results and at a great price. This project wasn't easy, it required creativity and an appetite for taking on a challenge, and Samuel delivered big time. We are SO grateful to have this work finally done so we can move forward, and Samuel will definitely be our go-to electrician from now on... my only worry is he will become too busy because someone this good is very hard to find!

Plug for oven didn't work and I couldn't get breaker to reset. Sam responded quickly on Saturday evening and arrived 2 hours later. He solved the problem expertly and we can now cook on our stove and oven again. Thanks Sam for the excellent service.

Samuel is an incredible communicator, electrician, and person. He spent two weeks doing a complete rewire of our 80+ year old home and made sure that we passed our city inspections bringing each room up to code. In this project, we had multiple requirements involving fixture replacements/additions and several new outlets. He provided accurate estimates, quick communication via email & text, and spent as much time as needed to get our electric work done. I've already had Samuel come back for additional small projects and will continue to use him for my work moving forward. I cannot recommend Samuel enough, he'll do great things for your house!
