I was having a tough time finding a local contractor who would come out to my workplace and do a small job. Everyone else wanted to charge me through the nose because they had larger contracts in place with larger companies. Not Brian; he gave me a fair estimate and was willing to work around our schedule to come out and do the work.

I found Brian to be knowledgeable and incredibly competent (along with the other worker who came to help). I can easily recommend his services to anyone, especially people who coordinate maintenance for their offices.

It's hard to have to give Skilliez their next really bad review, but they did not show up to our job yesterday. Nor has Brian returned my call since the no-show. This is especially stressful as we had sparking wires above the roof, now stormy weather, and, as acknowledged by Brian, this is a potential fire hazard. Skilliez left us scrambling to find another electrician, and now it wont be until almost a week later that someone else will be able to come to complete the work. After this experience with Skilliez there is no way I would trust Brian's judgement on any job, large or small.

Do not use this company. I called in a bit of a panic because our electrician could not pull CAT6E cabling for us for some cubicle work. I realized I was in a bind and had heard from everyone else I had reached that they could not come out today. When I reached Skilliez Electric and spoke to Brian Skillicorn I was told no problem. ""I can have someone out there before noon""... Our call was at 9:30. I was so happy and he even called back to ensure he had the right address. But guess what - THEY NEVER SHOWED UP! NEVER CALLED AND WON'T ANSWER THEIR PHONE! Very unprofessional!

we just had a bunch of work done by Skilliez. From start to finish, they were everything you could hope for in a skilled professional: competent, communicative, patient and punctual and very focused on making sure he gave us everything we asked for. Our place is older, and had some odd challenges, but Brian and team were never stumped. I found his pricing very reasonable for the most part, and he is willing to listen and be flexible.

Although I know they do large jobs, I felt like my place was his top priority even though he seems in very high demand.

Brian and Fermen did a number of electrical projects at our house. My husband and I were extremely pleased with the work that was done. These guys are reasonably priced and a pleasure to work with. They installed recessed lighting throughout our kitchen, hall and living room, a new panel, rewired the entire kitchen, installed fans in our bathrooms, lights on our garage and a home security system. Everything was done in a timely manner and Brian was always available by phone or would return calls in a timely manner. HIGHLY recommended

On Tues. 3/5 I called this business from Yelp. I had a long list of electrical needs in my home including recessed lighting, new outdoor lights/outlets, etc... Brian answered and said he could stop by the same afternoon between 4-430pm. Excellent I thought. At 3:30pm I received a text message from Brian asking to reschedule for the following day since he could no longer make the appointment. We agreed to meet the following day Wed. 3/6 between 4:30-5pm.

He arrived right on time. I explained all of the work my wife and I needed. He did not bring any notebook, writing utensil, etc... so after the list of needs got long enough, he began taking notes with his phone. He seemed very knowledgeable and made great recommendations for our electrical needs. Before departing, he said he would have a proposal for us by the following day.

After a week had gone by, I attempted to email, phone, and text Brian. Still no response. This negative review is not based on Brian's electrical expertise, but rather his customer service. I will never know whether Brian's prices were competitive, or whether is skills are perfected. I will continue my search.

Brian has done several jobs for me an always is super professional, friendly and well priced. He knows his stuff and helped with suggestions to get me thinking about some new ideas that have worked out wonderfully. I highly recommend Skilliez Electric and I refer him to all my clients as well.

Brian Skillicorn just left my house after 2 hours of work. He installed a connection for my generator backing up my house power. He was extremely professional and efficient. The work was done to my complete satisfaction and he cleaned up and even made sure the whole system worked before leaving just to make sure I was happy.

Brian went above and beyond expectations. My elderly father lost electrical power which meant no refrigerator, no light, television etc. and Brian researched what is an antiquated system and made the repair needed the next day at a reasonable cost. His professionalism and compassion for the situation was a very pleasant and unexpected pleasure. He is returning to complete a minor repair soon and look forward to doing business with someone of his character. Thanks Brian.

We hired Skilliez Electric to run a dedicated line to our microwave in the kitchen in our older home. Brian did an excellent job in explaining/showing us what needed to be done and then doing the work in an extremely professional manner. Everything was done just as he promised. Brian's character is one of a honest, hard-working man. It was obvious to my husband and myself that Skilliez Electric was out to leave us satisfied customers- and we were extremely satisfied. Brian of Skilliez Electric is the best AND, if you are looking for a reasonable, honest quote, you don't need to look any further. Brian will do what is honest and right for you. Even, Schatzie our miniature dachsund liked Brian.

We called Brian a second time out to do more electrical work when our
Christmas tree, outside lights and numerous other things plugged in blew a fuse. Even though it was a holiday week and towards the evening Brian answered his phone and talked to my husband about the problem scheduling a time to come out the following day and work on the problem. Brian was great and within an hour had everything working properly AND, a reasonable charge to boot. Honestly, in Silicon Valley you would be hard pressed to find anyone as accommodating and honest as Brian. He was a pleasure to have in our home and I would recommend him to anyone contemplating a large or small job. If you want the job done correctly by a very qualified, honest and reasonable Electrican, call Brian- you will not be disappointed.
