Sonny returned my call promptly and scheduled an appointment the same day and showed up on time. Explained what he was doing and what he was checking for. Cleaned out the gunk in my breaker box and replaced a couple circuit breakers. I would definitely call him again in the future, if needed.

So glad that we found Sonny. We just bought an older home that needed some minor electrical work done to repair a bad outlet, add dimmers, and install a new outlet.

Sonny promptly returned my phone call, came out and took a look at what needed to be done, and then made an appointment to return and get the work done.

He was super conscientious about covering his shoes and putting down drop cloths to keep our house clean. I'm also giving him 5 stars because he is not the type of person who will come into your home and try to up-sell you on unnecessary work.

We will definitely be using him again in the future for any other electrical needs.

I called Sonny with an emergency situation - my outlet near the stove had shorted out which caused a mini-explosion. I cut the power and looked up an electrician. I found Sonny through Yelp and called him the next morning. He promptly returned my call, patiently listened to me explain the issue, came over within hours that same day, and now everything is back working safely. Couldn't recommend Sonny and SJ Rios Electric highly enough.

My hero! Couldn't be happier.
Just moved into an old craftsmen that needed some TLC, new outlets, light fixtures, fans, dedicated lines to basement sump pump, etc. including new HDMI outlets customized for my 50"" flat screen TV installed on a wall unit over the fireplace. Considering the existing wires is a mix of old and new, there was Lots to do!
Received recommendation and contact info from a coworker and called SJ Rios Electric. Sonny came right over and was able to provide a detailed estimate, and schedule the work within a few days. On the schedule date, Sonny was on time and went right to work (throughout the house, under the house!) and finished EVERYTHING in just a few hours. Quality of work is amazing, got exactly what I wanted. We are very very happy, and will def be calling SJ Rios Electric for all my needs! Well done Sonny, well done.

Sonny was a wonderful electrician. He came on time on the appointment and did all the electrical repairs so fast. My house is old with old wiring and he did good job on addressing the issues with reasonable price. He was knowledgeable and help me to understand the electrical system on the house. I will hire him again if I have electrical issue again.

Sonny problem solved creating an automatic turn off for an old wall heater and replacing a Breaker Box that was overloaded and in a very tight space.

He's great about either returning calls, and showing up when he says he will and he's just a super nice guy. He's busy because he's good, but he gives a window-of-time for availability.

The level of service required to succeed in the Yelp economy is unfairly high, but Sonny clears the bar no sweat.

We called him during the Super Bowl, and he called us right back when the game was over. He was willing to come over on Sunday evening. He was prompt and extremely professional. His prices are competitive.

When it turned out the motherboard on the heater had fritzed out, he had a contact who could also come the same day and bring a new part.

Sonny is quick! I placed a call to him at noon because I found my lights flickering. He then came to my house at 4pm. He was able to determine the cause of the issue and proposed a solution and worked on it at no time!
